About Our Current Heat Wave

You assume a lot. I will never be finished deflating your fantasies about the weather. Bad weather has been with us since creation. It has never represented a climate condition that Man created or can do anything about except live with it.
No one is talking about weather, 🤡.

You could have been talking about Juno Beach Florida. I however with superior information-collecting abilities, and knowing about the flooding in Juneau, realized you could have meant Juneau AK but just couldn't spell it, and being intellectually generous came to your cognitive rescue. :D
Intellectuals don't confuse weather and climate.

I mean lets say for the sake of argument you still don't believe this is caused by men it is but who cares. I know you HATE BIG GOVERNMENT. Is it not about time to start actually planning where we build instead of building all willy nilly? Cus I hear a lot of conservatives saying "Well if your house in uninsurable sell it." Big problem with that, I've heard rumors that people generally don't buy houses that are hard or impossible to sell except for "scrap" so to speak.
Show me a conservative who thinks he can sell an uninsurable home. You must have a whole list, right? So post it.
This is going to hurt a lot of people and the only silver lining if you take it as such (and despite what the Right Claims I don't hate) it will most hit people can kind of afford it. Nobody has beach front property in Florida, or mountain side in CA who won't be OK. Like those are the places where the people who clean Kim Kardasian's pools live. Kim's a little further in but she's safe because of affuluence not natural barriers. Concrete don't burn to well so I'm safe unless it starts in my house or one of my neighbors.
Yep, the word salad above just laid waste to an entire regiment of intelligent people.:D

Such a fucking laugh, might be the laugh of the day!!!

The climate is the weather.
Thank you for admitting that you are not intellectually capable or honest enough to make this thread.
You can't make this shit up, and what's even funnier is wrongway claims to be "intellectual"

That is exactly the point you moron, you can't sell that house but they expect others to be able to.

You're the only person with any trouble understanding me. You need to actually read enough to expand your vocabulary to match mine. Or at least half of mine. Good job just dodging why we shouldn't trust the military and Insurance companies.

You're really bad at this you know.

Climate is not the weather. Holy shit, this is why people without a basic understanding of the science should steer clear.

I might add that Socialist nations are eventual disasters at almost every level. The major fault in the Socialist mind regarding proposed solutions to economic problems are always resolved in one direction as Milton Freidman once simplified as follows:

"When the question arises at what level of government something should be done, the 20th century liberal is likely to resolve any doubt in favor of the more centralized level—the state instead of the city, the federal government instead of the state, a world organization instead of a federal government. The 19th century liberal is likely to resolve any doubt in the other direction and to emphasize a decentralization of power."

As we see the economic freedom instituted by our founders and experienced by the American people at the time, that eventually drew millions of entrepreneurial people to our shores and allowed them to flourish and to eventually create the greatest economic force on Earth in the 20th Century, has incrementally been degraded by 20th Century liberals and today's leftists into the emerging state-controlled economic disaster we see today flirting daily with globalist government that will surely return us to our economic infancy.
The disaster is believing that Trumpism has the actual policies to match the anger and rage. The right-wing have no answers because the capitalist system has no answers. They downplay the catastrophic effects of climate change like the tobacco industry used to downplay the dangerous effects of smoking. All they care about is $$$$$, no matter who suffers and dies, and no matter how badly if effects the environment.

I think there's something seriously wrong with society's priorities when people see a home more as something to sell rather than something to live in with security.

Liberals support government involvement in society.
Liberals are big business capitalists, usually completely in hock to the corporations. They see themselves as the "enlightened, realistic, sensible center of politics", believing that only "experts in the room" should be involved in the serious business of politics and decision making, and that ordinary people from socialists to conservatives should be "locked out" of any serious process. They believe that the people who aren't "experts" should just vote for whomever the "experts" decide should govern us, according to those liberals. If the people don't obey, like in 2016, the insults and snobbery about "deplorables" come thick and fast.

The existence of government means that there are antagonistic classes in society, and government exists in order to make laws that represent a particular class so that it can rule over society. Other state institutions like courts, military, police, federal reserve, secret services etc. are also there to serve that ruling class. The stronger the class antagonisms then the bigger the state and government has to be. The irony is that conservatives and "libertarians" favor policies that make people poorer, thus making the class antagonisms greater, thus making the state and government bigger.

My statement was more succinct and much less hyperbolic.

But you keep fighting the good fight.

That is exactly the point you moron, you can't sell that house but they expect others to be able to.

You're the moron. You said this, "Cus I hear a lot of conservatives saying "Well if your house in uninsurable sell it."
I said this: "Show me a conservative who thinks he can sell an uninsurable home. You must have a whole list, right? So post it."
So, name the conservatives you heard say this.
You're the only person with any trouble understanding me. You need to actually read enough to expand your vocabulary to match mine. Or at least half of mine. Good job just dodging why we shouldn't trust the military and Insurance companies.

I understand the idiocy and illiteracy of almost everything you say quite clearly.
You're really bad at this you know.

Climate is not the weather. Holy shit, this is why people without a basic understanding of the science should steer clear.
"Climate is defined not only by average temperature and precipitation but also by the type, frequency, duration, and intensity of weather events such as heat waves, cold spells, storms, floods, and droughts." Thus climate cannot be defined without the weather events that identify it. Now, go back to school.

I'm gong to do this as a separate thread for those who actually like to "Science the shit out of this."

The Sun has been very active lately, sending out scorching flares and frying communication systems back on Earth.

The latest one was recorded on Monday when an X-class solar flare disrupted radio and navigation signals across North America.

‘X-class’ solar flares are the largest, most disruptive of flares and this one, classified as an X1.5, likely disrupted high-frequency radio communications on the sunlit side of Earth.

According to the Met Office, the flare burst out of the largest and most active sunspot group currently visible on the Sun’s disk.

This was the 20th X flare of the current 11-year solar cycle, which is due to reach its peak next year.
