Several of you jumped in to tell him he was being judgmental and many, if not all of those who said he was wrong and judgmental took the original post out of context.

I bring this up here, because it isn't the topic of that thread, and for the simple fact that those of you who think that way are being hypocritical.

What are you doing when you tell him that he is being judgmental? You are judging him.

And what is really wrong with judging again? We need to have an ability to differentiate from one thing to another. Would you have us floundering around without any idea of what is what?

There was no derogatory statement in his original post. Actually the compassion he showed far exceeded that of what I saw in the replies he was given.

A lot of people have deemed the ability to perceive and state an observation as being judgmental, and that being judgmental is a form of looking down on a person.

Why do people assume that if a person is stating something they've observed about another person, or other people, that they are deeming a person as less of a person then they, thus being what they refer to as judgmental?

I find this to be one of life's great mysteries.
People are so apt to see things how they want without looking at what is really the truth.
This is the case in point...

You judge another's judging as being wrong, but yours is okay.

Twisted.

I expect very few responses that agree with my statements. Why? Because it is likely that Black Bird is correct and that the truth isn't as easily digestible as some would like to claim.
