A Twisted Plot

"Isn't this how i left you?" Matthew laughed as he came through the door.

He had not been able to think during his meetings and god only knows what he had agreed to do but it wouldn't suprize him if he was dressed in a chicken suit in his next big movie.

The thought of Sam permeated his thoughts and wouldn't leave him so he rushed his meetings inorder to come back and spend time with his new PA.

"So have you done anything while i was gone little lady?"

"Isn't this how I left you?"
Sam grinned as Matthew came through the door, closing it behind him and heading towards her with a curious eye.
"So have you done anything while i was gone little lady?"

"I'll have you know I've done a lot, Mr Summer," She replied with mock seriousness in her voice. "I've taken all of your pieces of paper and put all the information in here..." She tapped the top of the laptop screen with a wink. "I've just made up a schedule for you for the next week...oh...and we have reservations at Giovanni's at 8..." Sam smiled broadly, leaning back dramatically against the back of the couch, resting her arms behind her head. "How's your day been? Meetings productive were they...?"

"Honestly, I have no idea how they went but i am sure they went fine. I was in a daze and then we didn't get to eat lunch.....Have you had anything?

As she sat back he took in her body just wanting to reach out and kiss her but he couldn't so he just stared....for now.

"Honestly, I have no idea how they went but i am sure they went fine. I was in a daze and then we didn't get to eat lunch.....Have you had anything?"

As if on cue, Sam's stomach growled her answer for her. She sat up and shyly wrapped an arm around her waist.
"I guess you should take that as a no..." She could feel herself blushing again, why did this have to keep happening around Matthew like this...?
"Did you want me to have something brought up from the kitchens for you...?" She stood and headed over to the phone, picking up the hotel's extensive 'Room Service Menu' and taking it over to Matthew.

"Did you want me to have something brought up from the kitchens for you...?"

he watched as she walked back over to him with the menu. When she got close enough to hand it to him his eyes were locked on hers. Matthew reached out to take the menu and their hands brushed against one anothers. The moment was similar to a teenager's first kiss. he let out a sigh and pulled the menu away and could only sigh as he pulled away nevrous and excited.....

"Yeah, that sounds really nice....what would you like Sam?"

Sam smiled shyly as their fingers brushed when she handed Matthew the menu. Quickly turning and heading back to sit on the couch, hoping her cheeks weren't blushing too much.

"Yeah, that sounds really nice....what would you like Sam?"

"Me...?" Sam was genuinely surprised, she hadn't expected he'd get her something too. She thought she'd have to 'fend for herself' almost. "Oh, nothing too much, just a sandwich and maybe some fries or something...if that's ok...?" She added softly. "I know it's not too healthy a choice but I promise to steer clear of the rich creamy sauces at the restuarant tonight to make up for it..." She grinned.

"And what is wrong with rich creamy sauces?"

knowing that she was trying to be health concious and watch her shape as every woman does in that way that annoys every man he had to poke her a bit.

"Sandwich and fries it is but you need to live a little a woman as beautiful as you with a body like that shouldn't worry so much"

realizing that he might have let a little to much slip there he started wandering around looking for the phone.

"And what is wrong with rich creamy sauces?"
Sam grinned.
"Well nothing when you've got a personal trainer and the motivation to go to the gym..." She teased gently, sensing some kind of comeback was almost certainly guaranteed from him.
"Sandwich and fries it is but you need to live a little a woman as beautiful as you with a body like that shouldn't worry so much"
Sam felt herself blushing, not expecting a comeback like that, as she watched him get up and start searching for the phone. She pointed him in the direction of the table at the opposite end of the couch to where she was sitting, and the phone upon it.
"So...what are you going to order...for you...?"

"So...what are you going to order...for you...?"

"Well now that is a good question...a nice cliche would fit well here....something like...hmmm... are you available for instance."

he smiled turned and walked away before getting his response. He made the call and ordered a burger and fries for him and her sandwich and fries. By the time he turned back and came from his room Sams face seemed to have cooled off a bit but was still flush.

"What's wrong? you seem a bit flushed?" he winked and went and took his seat next to the couch in his armchair.

"Well now that is a good question...a nice cliche would fit well here....something like...hmmm... are you available for instance."
Sam felt her mouth drop open slightly at his comment but fortunately he turned away before she could reply, and doubtlessly say something stupid.
Was he...flirting with her? Surely not. It had to be her imagination. He was just a charming, kind young man and she was reading too much into things. Trying to calm down her blushing as he returned to his seat.
"What's wrong? you seem a bit flushed?"
"Me...? I'm fine...it's probably just the air-con or something..." She replied, almost shyly. There was a semi-awkward pause that followed. "So...did they say how long the food would be...?" She groaned as soon as the words left her mouth. Matthew was going to think her mind revolved around her stomach at this rate.

"So...did they say how long the food would be...?"

He could tell she was stumbling and looking for a way out of talking about her but it was cute so he let her go.

"No but it shouldn't be too long i don't think. Hungry are we?"

"No but it shouldn't be too long i don't think. Hungry are we?"
"A little..." Sam replied shyly, making a point of not meeting his eyes. Not trusting her treacherous cheeks not to give away the thoughts rushing through her head. Knowing she'd blush the minute she looked into those gorgeous eyes. Why she was feeling and reacting like this she wasn't entirely sure.
It was true, he was a very handsome young man but...but she barely knew him...surely she couldn't be developing any kind of feelings for him...could she?
"So...I booked Italian for tonight, is that ok? I figured they'd have a little of everything, meat, fish, pasta dishes...as I didn't know your tastes...but I can change it if you'd prefer...?" She asked, finally daring to look up a little at his face.

When she looked up he was smiling at her. She was beautiful. Surely he couldn't be falling for his PA. How silly would that be. It was just too much like out of one of his movies but he couldn't deny his attraction to her. Surely she felt it to.

"...but I can change it if you'd prefer...?"

"No that will be fine, but perhaps we could go just the two of us....i mean that is if you don't mind....or....we don't have to."

Now he was the one on the defensive and didn't know how to stop this school boy crush in its tracks and he didn't know if he wanted to. He had to find out somehow if she felt the same way.

"No that will be fine, but perhaps we could go just the two of us....I mean that is if you don't mind....or....we don't have to..."
Sam bit her lower lip shyly, wondering if his slightly defensive tone had anything to do with him having similar feelings, or the stirrings of feelings...
"I'd...I'd like that a lot...if you would...I mean...it would be nice to get to know one another a little better, don't you think?" Sam could hardly believe her tone. It was low and almost husky, it couldn't be taken for anything other than flirting.
Was that what she was doing? Flirting with Matthew Summer, the hollywood heart-throb and international star? Flirting with her boss...?
Sam could only smile and await his response.

"I'd...I'd like that a lot...if you would...I mean...it would be nice to get to know one another a little better, don't you think?"

suprized at her tone and candor matthew didn't know what to do. Was she flirting with him? she must feel the same way.

"I think you are right, and what better way to get to know one another than by dinner?"

As he said this the uncontrolable desire to be close to this woman over came him. he reached over and took her hand. as he stood up she stood with him. Neither saying a word nor taking thier eyes off the other. he let go of her hand cupped the sides of her face in his hands supporting her head from behind and pulled her lips to his as he leaned down to meet her kiss.

their lips barely touching in the softest of kisses, gentle and sincere. he pulled away from her still holding her face and staring into her eyes.

"I'm sorry but you are the most beautiful most real person i have ever met. forgive me if that was out of order."

"I think you are right, and what better way to get to know one another than by dinner?"
How she ended up on her feet, his warm hands cupping her face and his eyes gazing down into hers, she would never be able to say for certain. But as his lips drew closer to hers and his hands guided her mouth to meet his, Sam felt her entire body tingle. The kiss was soft and gentle, innocent and yet full of meaning. As Matthew lifted his lips from hers and their eyes found one anothers once more, she couldn't stop herself from trembling.
"I'm sorry but you are the most beautiful most real person i have ever met. forgive me if that was out of order."
Sam felt her smile grow shy and her eyes lower from his for a moment.
"I...I don't know what to say... I mean..." She looked back up into his eyes and smiled a little wider. "That was lovely and...and by no means was it out of order...I...I think you're amazing and..." Her voice was trembling slightly as she fought to try and make her words make sense. "...and...that was lovely..." She added softly, pushing herself up onto her toes to brush her lips against his gently. "...very lovely..." She sighed.

"...very lovely..."

as she lifted to her toes and pushed into him matthew met her lips with his own kissing her more fully and somehow with more meaning it felt like. His heart skipped beats and he was immediatly flush and couldn't breath. As she began to pull away he wimpered and pulled her back kissing her for now the third time in his life. And for the third time the kiss drew him in and made him feel...something more deeply...he just was lost in the quiet stillness of thier kiss.

He pulled back to look at her.

"You couldn't have said it better, that was lovely just as you are lovely. I don't know where this goes from here but I know that I don't want to ever have to go a day without a kiss like that."

All of this gushing out of him as he held her face and was lost in her eyes and teh expression on her face.

They kissed and then kissed again, Sam's entire body feeling as though it might explode at any second. Her heart racing and her lips trembling as their kiss deepened, taking her breath away slightly.
"You couldn't have said it better, that was lovely just as you are lovely. I don't know where this goes from here but I know that I don't want to ever have to go a day without a kiss like that."
Sam couldn't believe what she was hearing, this man, this handsome, talented man who had kissed and 'made love' to the most beautiful women in the world was talking about her in such a way. She knew he was an actor and could deliver a line better than most men but even her cynical streak couldn't take away the look in his eyes as he spoke to her. His words were genuine, they seemed to be coming from deep inside him.
"I...I don't know where it goes either but...but I know I'll be happy to kiss you everyday...every hour...if that's what you want..." She smiled shyly, winking briefly. "I just...I just can't believe that you...that you're saying what you're saying...to me..." Her eyes widened as she looked into his eyes once more. "You're...you're so very special...and I'm...well, I'm not..." Sam laughed lightly, twisting her head slightly to kiss one of his palms that cradled her head. "But you've just made me feel more special, more wonderful than I ever thought possible..."

"I just...I just can't believe that you...that you're saying what you're saying...to me...You're...you're so very special...and I'm...well, I'm not...But you've just made me feel more special, more wonderful than I ever thought possible..."

feeling her soft lips on his hand he melted. Not knowing what would happen but rather being completely wrapped up in the emotion and feeling of it all.

"You are more special than you or anyone else will ever know....i have known you for a day and want to spend the rest of my life gtting to knwo the rest of you...I am no different than you, i just know that you make me feel special and i like that..."

He stepped back to look at her and then realized what a beautiful woman she was...shortish compared to him but perfect, beautiful eyes, soft warm brown hair. he was becoming infatuated. but his body wouldn't let him wander. he needed to kiss her again to feel her close. he leaned in and kissed her again but this time on the cheek and then again near her ear, then behind it working his way slowly down to her neck. He savored every inch of her soft pale skin. His hands now wrapped around her waist pulling her in tilting her head to the side to be able to leave a trail of kisses all the way down the length of her neck.

"You are more special than you or anyone else will ever know....I have known you for a day and want to spend the rest of my life gtting to know the rest of you...I am no different than you, I just know that you make me feel special and I like that..."
Sam sighed as his lips met her skin once more, kissing slowly and gently across her cheek, towards her ear and then down her neck. Feeling her skin rippling with excitement wherever his lips travelled, tinged with a little nervousness that at any moment she would awake and find this all a dream.
"Oh Matthew..." Was all she managed to whisper, her voice low and husky ocne more. Her eyes slipped shut as his arms wrapped around her waist to draw her closer, her head tilting of it's own accord to allow her hair to fall out of the way and allow him total access to her neck. Her hands holding loosely onto his shoulders for support as she bit her bottom lip against a whimper. Her neck had always been one of her more sensitive areas and every time his mouth made contact with her skin, it seemed to send thrills of pleasure through her.
Somewhere in her mind she thought she heard the door opening but was too wrapped up in the emotions surging through her to do anything about it. After a few more moments of Matthew's lips making love to her neck, she heard the door being shut firmly.
Her face flushing with embarassment, she leapt back from Matthew, turning to see Simon standing in front of the closed door. She glanced across at Matthew who looked as embarassed as she did, the pair of them standing like teenagers just caught doing something they shouldn't.

Hi I'm the new Simon. Money is my concern, what makes money is good. What costs money is bad. The more it costs the less I like it. Time is money. If I find waste it will be cut. I am a capitalist through and through. Matthew is my cash "Cow" he makes me money! Money is my alpha and omaga. Family doesn't matter, feelings don't matter, caring doesn't matter! What matters is that Matthew make films that make money, not art film, not cheap no budget start ups. Big money films, I want my cut, that is all I see.

Simon stands in the door way red with rage. He walks up to Matthew.
His lips thin and barely opening when he says"Matthew what happened at lunch? I just got a call from Hugo, he said you would consider doing a horror flick, A HORROR FLICK....what were you thinking? Are you trying to destroy your shot at the MEGA BUCK FILMS....I'm trying to get you as co-lead in DESERT HAWKS a 15 mil. budget bye the way, and Hugo calling me about CALL ME DEAD ......what were you thinking?

Sam winced and stepped a little further away as Simon marched towards them, his face furious and tone dripping with anger, solely directed at Matthew. Almost as if he hadn't noticed what they were doing when he entered.
"Can...can I get you anything Mr. Preston...?" She asked timidly trying to help ease the situation but then regretted it instantly as his burning gaze turned to her, making her look at the floor awkwardly.

"......what were you thinking?"

It was as if he was in the middle of the most perfect dream and some one just grabbed him and shook him out of it. What was simon going on about? still kinda loopy he just looked at simon.

"Look i don't know what i was thinking. But what is wrong with Call Me Dead? So i had an off day at a meeting. You will fix it. Thats what you do but, don't think you can come in here and tell me who i am or what i will be."

Now he was waking up and realizing what he was being told and was getting a bit upset. And who was he to leer at the Sam?

"We can work this out over dinner the three of us. Sam you bring your notes from earlier, Simon you get that stick out of your ass and get on the phone with hugo and tell him that i would love to do his big shoot um up but that i am not tied to doing these blockbuster corporate gigs. So, if i want to do Call me Suzy i can do it and my career is up to me. So dinner, the three of us, and we will all get on the same page for this tour and worry about which films i will do after this pub. tour. Got it everybody?"

Simon was surprised Matthew had recovered so quickly from his frontal assualt, when he saw that the direct appoach did not work he would have to change tact.
"Matthew what I do is insure you stay in the Astrer Hotel with a beautiful veiw, not the Washington Hotel where you would be looking a a brick wall!" Simon moves to the window and looks out. "And that stick up my ass, as you so colorfully called it, Is my desire to do the best job I can for you." Simon pulls the curtain open and stands in the evening sun watching it die slowly."I wanted this to be a surprise Matthew, I have good news, you have been nagging me to get you in a romantic comady with Cindy Graham, Next year she is making UP YOUR MONBA with that balck girl Queen El they need a Lead man. Simon turned with the sun behind him."Sure we can do dinner, and straighten this out.....and sure I can be blind to your new found puppy love here, and yes I know, it's none of my buisness who you want to bed....we have covered that ground before. Just remember this, and then we can trot off to dinner, Cindy Graham is a MegaStar..not a SUPER STAR...a MegaStar...bed her....and well, you can figure the rest out!" Simon walks away from the window toward the door."Shall we go?'....And she is a hard core Christian....If she finds out that a lead man is bedding his staff, you will be seeing her in the theater, not on the set!"
And with that he opens the door."I'll meet you in the lobby, you think about it Matthew, in a year you can be with Cindy Graham." He walks out and slowly closes the door, it barely makes a sound.

Sam stood astounded, listening to the two of them. Feeling her cheeks burn with embarassment as Simon referred to her as Matthew's 'puppy love'.
As he stormed from the office, she smiled awkwardly at Matthew.
"I...I hope I haven't somehow gotten you into trouble," She bit her bottom lip slightly. "I guess I should cancel the food we ordered if Simon wants us to go and eat now..." Sam headed over to the phone and picked up the handset, dialling the number and tutting. "It's engaged, I'll pop down to Reception and do it myself, I'll also check if you have any messages before we go out...I'll...I'll see you downstairs..." She grinned as brightly as she could, grabbing her notebook and jacket and all but skipping towards the doors and bounding out into the corridor beyond before Matthew could reply, not wanting to make him say anything he didn't want to. Being 'caught' like that had been embarassing for the both of them.
Once out in the small hallway, Sam froze. Simon was stood waiting for an elevator. Lowering her head she walked over and stood as near as she dared. Waiting for the elevator to arrive, counting slowly in her head to try and pass the time. The bell rang signalling it's arrival before she reached ten, to her relief. She stepped inside and waited for Simon to press the button.
