Hell the reason there were enough Jews in Israel to just slide in the way that they did is because they had been fleeing from Europe into the region for a while. I think not, your sums are wrong; it would be pretty close to 50/50. The Israeli Arabs are already around 20%. Given the rates of natural increase, non Jews would be a majority within a generation.

In any case the immediate political problem is how can the Jewish segment of the population overcome the absurd proportional representational voting system which will always deliver the balance of power to the very obscure, religiously very conservative Jews. Until you have spent time in Israel it is impossible to appreciate how 80% of all Israeli Jews despise these religious extremists, but they have no means of limiting their power.

Finally US Presidents are no more welcome in the domestic affairs of Israel than they are of any other country. Intervention without objectives is always stupid, and the US has no legitimate domestic objectives in Israel.

This is actually a good idea, everybody would get equal rights and they can benefit from each other. And when this ends the conflict, more Muslim nations would sign peace treaties with them and they can all benefit from each other both diplomatically and economically. And eventually America would stop having to spend billions of dollars subsidizing Israel's military occupation and wasting its time defending them in every stupid thing that Israel does.

The problem is that the zionists are completely against the idea because then it wouldn't be a full Jewish state, which is what they want. A recent poll showed that about 72% of Israelis are for expelling millions of Palestinians out of the country, not caring that it would be an ethnic cleansing. They don't want to share any government powers with the Palestinians in any way, they want to continue the settlements and force out as many Arabs as they can, they just don't care.

The problem is that as long as America is protecting them and defending every stupid decision Israel makes. We defend them in areas that we would never defend other nations for doing. And as long as America is doing this, Israel thinks they they can get have whatever they want, do whatever they want, and get away with whatever they want.

If America stops their support for Israel, they would change their tune immediately because they can't exist without America's support. America needs to stop their unconditional support for Israel and start pressuring them to stop the settlements, ease restrictions on Palestinians to let them live more freely.

Right now America is being a bad friend to Israel by looking the other way and letting them do whatever they want. A good friend tells you about the stupid shit you're doing and why it's a problem to get you to become a better person.
