A general update

Howdy!

I'm broke and in Alabama-- that's to be expected, and that's also the good news. (Bad news being I'm sore as fuck, pissing blood, and have no clue why. Note to self: get a job with medical benefits.)

My apartment is cool, though I share it with a minimal amount of cockroaches, and my for-now-friend (FKA "significant other") has offered to clean it. Met a nice lady today who offered to help me get a job-- I made the country bumpkin mistake of wandering out of my slum-type apartment building, well-dressed, and asking where I could find an ATM machine and hail a taxi.

Bah. I'll get street-smart eventually.

At any rate, just wanted to let my favorite perverts know what's up. Thanks for all your support and advice!

I had a horrible roach problem in my previous apartment, and once I discovered the Combat roach baits, I never saw another roach.

Sweetie, I am glad you are on your own now, but this condition you are in is no good. You most likely have a bladder or urinary tract infection or worse, a kidney infection. You really need to see about a free clinic where you can get some antibiotics for this kind of thing. A quick urinalysis and they'll know what's up with you, and get you all better.

I'll second Weird Harold's recommendation here. I inherited roaches a year ago when I moved into my current home. Within a week they were gone and never seen again.

Wonder if I ought to replace the baits?? Nah, they seem to be working well so far. Not broke, don't fix.
