I have a published story that is now in Pending. WTF?

It has a score, vote and comments.

Any idea what this happened?

It was originally published on the 26.

Not sure why they pulled it back. It's not for an event, is it? I had a Crime and Punishment story get published and then pulled back until the event stories went live. That story was officially birthed with a red H (I had gotten ten votes before it was retracted by the site).

I hope but I have read post complaining that stories did not get published past their publishing date

I would like to know why it was pulled back and then republished.

If you read it, you know it is not AI (not good enough) and there is nothing in it that has not been published here ten of thousands of time

I think it's unlikely to have been pulled back for the story itself. More likely user (Laurel) error, where the wrong story got set to publish tomorrow.

Just speculation based on the screenshot, but I wonder if it was flagged for scrutiny for its subject matter, i.e. being actually about Literotica. I have no idea how common such stories are, but could it be that it was pushed through with a cursory look like most stories, then Laurel noticed its subject and decided to pull it back for a closer look?

The link to the story in your signature works just fine, and it’s also visible in your story list. It’s only your control panel that’s glitching; don’t worry about it.

FYI, this forum blocks Imgur photos from appearing inline. I believe this is part of their "no nudies" enforcement. You could download the screencap and paste it into a message directly.

OTOH, it wasn't that big a deal to click the blank white rectangle.

I'd suspect that it was reported by someone as having been written by AI. They pulled it, reviewed it, and determined it wasn't. But that's just me.

Trust me, if you read it, this is not of AI quality. Yes I had a great beta reader (@Djmac1031), but it is not that great prose.
