A brand NEW freaking Bug

The 80's and 90's were a different time.
As were the fifties and sixties in comparison to them. Times change, now faster than ever, but some truths could be considered universal as they have stood the test of time. But you're also correct that people have grown more complacent and less ready to stand up for anything.

By the way, I was a child in the eighties and a teenager in the nineties. Good times.

I didn't say it reads like AI, I said it might have been reported as a person believing it's AI. There's a big difference, and many stories with nothing that might be construed as AI have been reported.
Trust me, if you read it, this is not of AI quality. Yes I had a great beta reader (@Djmac1031), but it is not that great prose.

@DEFCOM5 I see your story has reappeared on the Humor & Satire main page. Seems like the glitch corrected itself, or if you reached out to Laurel that worked.

It did have a publication date of today, so I was hoping it would. This one sounds like something odd happened to retract it, but I will bet on simple user error by Laurel or Manu.

Something else funny happened. I had 10 comments published at once. Never had that many comments show up in one overnight batch.

Most comments are put in a moderation queue before they are posted to the story page. There are users who are able to comment immediately but for everyone else (including all Anonymous ones for obvious reasons), they will have to run through the queue before being added. Entirely possible that that was the case for all ten of those comments.
