Hi, sorry, didn't mean to post and run - got hauled off for birthday shopping for the teen queen (god I feel old, she's 15 on Monday!).

The move has been great, dreadful, wonderful, annoying, painful (both hubby and I have strained our back over the past couple of weeks), exhausting and liberating, depending on the day and time of day!
Brother in law's girlfriend "helped" by packing a bunch of boxes for us and several critical items have vanished - vcr, playstation and cordless phone amongst them! This is mildly annoying - the vcr is on its last legs and has a video jammed in it right now, the playstation was not working, but we wanted the controllers from it for the new one (just arrived after being on raincheck for two months). The cordless phone is the most irritating - it's one of a pair and would be very handy right now as the phone inlet is in the shack and we spend most of our time in the caravan.
The cats are in seventh heaven and are sniping at each other far less. Juliet hasn't attacked anyone seriously since we got here and isn't hiding in a cupboard as expected. Harry needs brushing everyday, he's long haired and has delusions of being George of the Jungle so comes in full of grass seeds and assorted other foliage. Randall had a couple of scuffles with another cat and then came home one evening with a bashed up face and the air of a cat with sore ribs. Then I realised yesterday he's also got a canine tooth snapped off. Not sure what he ran into - animal or car. He's back to his usual cocky self, but looks worse for wear and will have to have a v-e-t visit for the tooth.
 
Lol! Wow, sounds like it's been an adventure Starr! Glad things seems to be settling, at least in as much as you have time to be online again! ;)

And Magica, no appologizing for not cleaning up! After all, this is my booth so I take full responsibility for the mess...besides, if it weren't a mess would anyone know it's mine? :cathappy:

That's better. Now I can relax. Mmmm, coffee.

I'm a cat, which means removing me from your lap is a much tougher concept than you might think :cattail:
And don't forget, I'm not a housecat, but a lynx...we're quite a bit bigger :catroar:

So what do I have to do to get you to move? Is this some elaborate thing with a mackerel on a stick held five feet away to entice you off my lap?

I'm currently working on another story for the Dhase universe...and this time I'm positive it won't morph into another novel! :eek::D
 
Well, I got stalled last night on the story, got distracted by a "Liber Paranormal" which I'm putting together in the event that I decide to co-write/RP a story set in the universe...

he isnt he? when we went outside he would go inside when we were inside he would look at us and nearly grin right till we snapped the photo and look away :D
