Snowwwwww Dayyyyyyyy!

Yippee!

;) So, in lieu of Storm's Sunday thread, I am serving coffee, juices and crumb cake for anyone who wants to keep me company.

Good morning, lit!

Hey smiley! I bet you could make me smile over crumb cake?

:D

(I was wondering why the house was creaking and snapping all night. Hmmmmm...)

My version of coffee: Coffee ice cream by Bryers.

mmmm.....

Today in our house was Circus day. Raegan *my oldest* is going with her 1st grade class. She was suitably excited.

How goes the snow day?

Snow day from the cold??
Sheesh we have been with an 80 below windchill, and actual 40+ below zero, and they still have school.

I played football at school in those conditions. Cold can't stop the 'Peggers from doing anything. Might stop our cars but not our hearts. It was only -45 C this morning.

We are wimps!

Ahhh slow and relaxing!

My oldest is in second grade and is quite excited about the winter play. He is to be a snowman and has put in his order for new white pants, white shirt and a black hat!

:D

I was just thinking about how badly I wanted to get into town this morning :D

Oddly enough, we don't have a lot of snow. We get warm, then we get snow - the snow melts, then it gets really cold - snow turns to ice. By Monday we'll approach the freezing mark again.

MissT, let's eat crumbcake in bed.

BTW, for all those who are busy comparing the sub-zero temps, there is ONE point at which the C and F scales actually coincide, and you're dancing around it today. -40 is the same on either scale. It follows, furthermore, that -40 is, in fact, cold enough.

I am out of crumbcake, dear.

But, even if you would like to eat crackers in my bed, I wouldn't kick you out!

;)

It's really cold here too.

When I started my car this morning,

I swear I heard it say "FUCK YOU"

The seat was rock hard...
