I'm a Chevy girl.. give me a bowtie and I'm a happy girl.

I like Nissan (although I'm seriously unhappy with the changes they have made this year and with the problems I'm experiencing with the 2002 that I bought).

Silverlily- Were mustangs ever any good? I've never liked the looks of them. ;)

Nice pic of the concept car. I've seen this pic a few times in places. Reminds me of the Shelby GT-500 KR. Might be nice to see a little Shelby badging on there in the future. I know this the concept car because Ford already said the car will have 4 seats. The car in the pic appears to only have two.

Chevy does suck, except for the Vette.

But the Cobra and the Viper will wipe the floor with either :)

Has elements of a small truck in there somewhere

I don't know why but everytime I see that concept I think looks like truck sort of.
Why would you buy Ford when there is so much more variety out there? There are lots of better handling cars, better prefroming cars and better looking cars so why would you choose a mustang? Maybe a GT40 but a mustang?

65 and 66 were nice.

As for Cobra and Viper, don't hold your breath. I've got a blown 427 sitting in my garage that will take the paint off of either.

I never have liked the look of the mustangs.. Mr Freaky likes the 65 and 66 also. He's tried several times to talk me into buying one of those instead of the Camaros to restore. I haven't given in yet.. but we also haven't bought a Camaro in 3 years.

We got one of those, a 68, it's no slug either.

There is one Ford we have considered buying.

Reminds me a little of an Aston Martin I saw maybe 10 years ago? I'll have to go dig up a pic and post it.

We had a 69 that we restored and sold.. and a 68 that we were in the process of restoring but had to sell it unfinished. During his divorce the (ex) wife was going to try to take the car (community property state).. so we sold it before he filed for divorce.

Well, Mustang survives...

Camaros and that other French-Canadian abortion... Oh yeah - FireChicken are GONE-DEE! Sayonara, Hasta La vista, done-for.

Messrs Roush, et al seem to be successful almost as much as the Texas chicken farmer was - true sprts cars go around corners well, in BOTH directions.

289-310 horse was the BEST in my humble experience:

AC Cobras beating Ferraris; Pete Brock Cobra Coupes, GT 350's in the REAL Group 2 /Trans-Am - and on until the Boss 302 took over. Shit! Bowtie's under 5 Litre stuff just blew up.... Awwww!

The modern 4,6 Litre is so DAMN close in displacement to GENUINE history ... Jeeze? and a flipping FroggyRod needs a Vette engine to compete...

SALEEEEEN, anyone?

Oh yeah - Sterling - it is FIRST ON RACE DAY, from Le Mans, to Talledega, Sebring, Daytona, Mosport, Sears Point , Laguna Seca....

This is Lance' thread - and I am oot here defending the Honour of the only N. American auto-maker that is still family-owned!

Fucking women.

It is a tad boxy, but I'm guessing that it is a bit greedy on the air side. Lance, where's the spec sheet?

I thought it must have had a supercharger in it, but they usually are bonnet feed.

The new mustang is short a real engine.

Freaky, I still love ya!

the hyperbole was for my young Canuckian friend's benefit. :D

SilverLily - the Rat is a SUPERB big block - actually, I'm rather partial to the ZL-1 Aluminum 427 in Chaparrals & McLarens...

But, I do not do "straight-line" stuff - and that GT-40 replica to come soon, is to DIE for. :)

BTW - does EVERYONE have the sexy audio on this thread?
