15-minute cities

I think that at birth instead of slapping your ass, your doctor hit you with a stupid stick.

Of course, you have proof of that contention that lies outside of your limited imagination.

Bonus: Define "good" for our edification and where these "good" transport systems exist.

We breathlessly await your answers because so far all you have done is be contentious without basis.

That's YOU not being able to back up anything you said, because it just felt good to say it in the moment.

Another post and still nothing to back up your claim. Now you’re resorting to personal attacks because you know you were wrong.
You won’t be able to do worse next time.

*chuckle*

You cannot prove that the rich use public transportation so you demand I prove a negative, that they don't use it without realizing that my proof is your complete inability to meet my original challenge, that you demonstrate who and where are these rich people using public transportation. Or maybe perhaps, you're defining rich down to the granularity of "middle-class" because it's the only way that your contention is true?

No one asked you to prove a negative.
You’re not having a good day today. Maybe tomorrow will be better for you.

Show us where I "made something up."

The closest I came was stating the obvious – you won't find Warren Buffet on the J-Train...

Unless, of course, you have some proof that the rich use busses and subways to get around, which you don't.

Post 79 of this thread.
You didn’t say that. Good try though. Maybe you’ll do better on your next try.

There is not a single thing about living in a city that interests me in the least. I like the quiet of rural life, the forest, the animals, and for the most part having our own little piece of paradise. I know for some driving 25 to 45 minutes to town, depending which town we are going to, is more than they want and that's okay by me. I don't want to live so close to people I hear their toilets flush and them yelling at their kids.

Amen and pass the plate.

The rich are not ever going to use public transportation.

The poor have a proclivity towards things like kidnapping, ransom and death...
In LA last year about 20 people died on trains and buses. Not killed, just died while they were on transit. About 300 people were killed by cars. About half were pedestrians run down by careless drivers.

Golly, maybe LA should ban the private ownership of cars.

Gentrification of poor neighborhoods and rich people refusing to ride public are moot points if everyone is poor. The whole USA becoming too poor to afford suburbs is why we are going back to walkable communities.
Too general a comment that is not applicable everywhere.

We have amazing internet thanks to a federal grant and matching state money for infrastructure.

Yes sir, we have a great above ground pool too!
how the fuck did you miss the point of me pointing out that you missed the point?
