Sparky ain't here, soooo...
Last night the fantasy goddess and I were at a local department store doing some last minute Christmas shopping. We saw our neighbor from down the street in the toy aisle, with a calculator in hand, doing her Christmas shopping as well. Her little girl was in tow, yelling about this toy or that one when an idea struck. We followed them around on the pretense of shopping and put into our carts every single item that the girl had mentioned. We went home and waited for full darkness to descend. I went to her house and placed three bags of gifts on her doorstep, with a note saying Merry Christmas, Santa. I rang the door bell and took off.
This morning on my way to work, I found a plate of homemade cookies on our doorstep, still warm even in 18 degree weather. The note said Merry Chrismas, Mrs. Clause. Have a happy holiday season, and do something nice for someone.
