🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Ok time to lift…

Update
Lifting today was so much better than cardio yesterday. I made sure to eat and drink fluids earlier. My arms are wobbly now 💪

Yesterday was leg day and they feel like jelly this morning. The first few days getting back into routine are tough. If the wind isn't strong enough to blow me over this afternoon I'm going to take my dog for a run. I forgot about a 5k that I signed up for weeks ago that's coming up this Sunday. I should probably run at some point before doing it.
Yes, jelly legs are the best feeling!

Just back from vacation and back into the routine tonight after work.

Did 45 min of deadlifts yesterday. Ended up being about 15 sets or so. Maxed 355x5. Legitimately laying on a heating pad right now and going to use my percussive massage gun shortly!

Wow, that's a lot! I hope you are recovering!

I focused on shoulders and arms today and finished with some yoga. A sauna or a hot tub would really hit the spot right now.
Chest, back and shoulders today and yes the hot tub will be utilized 💋😈

Back from vacation and back in the routine. Today will make 4 days in a row. Feels good to be back in the routine.

Been back to mostly regularly training sessions. I need to step up the at home cardio but I just don’t feel like I have it in me right now. I’ve managed to steadily lose weight during chemo - some of it might be muscle, but my clothing isn’t tighter and my tops are a bit looser. That’s not because I’ve had my tits removed yet, either!
Anyway, it is hard for me to see the forest through the trees sometimes but I’m thankful for my trainer who pushes me but understands when I’m at my limit - and who always tries to make me smile. I’m thankful I’m in a position where I can afford a trainer. I’m looking forward to finishing chemo and radiation so I can focus on losing weight and getting strong and try to avoid cancer recurrence.
It’s really difficult to know you lived a healthy life except for your weight - which is largely predetermined anyway - and still got cancer. I teeter on the verge of blaming myself - I got cancer because I’m fat. But I probably got cancer for a variety of reasons that have nothing to do with weight and weight just pushed it over the edge. Who knows. But, I know I can try yo live a healthier life with more balance and grace towards myself. Hopefully with therapy and my trainer I can get there.

I need a gym day today. Work has been taking too much time and we are now headed towards the slow down. So no excuses… 1 hour a day. Get sweaty.

Good morning and happy Sunday! I am running a 5k this afternoon with a friend. I almost backed out because of a knee issue but it's calmed down and I'll probably walk most of it anyway. Have a happy, sweaty day ☺️
Just keep moving forward! The speed doesn't matter. Have fun!

Failed this past weekend at getting to the gym... On a positive note The weather was good enough to go on a bike ride.

Time to lift then later today I’ll see about hitting the gum and hopefully working in the sauna.

That is awesome. Hope you are good today with maybe a bit of sore??? Well done!!!. Go for a massage :D

On the tail end of Covid and I'm constantly out of breath. I just brought a load of laundry up from the basement and now I'm sweating like Chris Christie at a buffet. This counts as exercise, right?

Right now it does. Take care of yourself.

Definitely can feel myself getting into better shape. And I’m pushing myself harder. My heart rate is fucked because of chemo so I just try to rest more between sets and drills. But I’m very happy with my progress considering what else my body is going through.
