Day 19: A song from the 90s about family

I saw Prisonshake and Guided by Voices in 93 or 94ish at this weird Princeton University eating club. We were only allowed in because my friend Dan was the roadie for prisonshake, and he hooked us up. It was me and my first wife, one of the most amazing gigs I’ve ever seen. I remember us having a great time even though my marriage was crumbling.

And 2 sisters… my two sisters are the most amazing women! Not only gave me a love for music (and put up w me) but are just amazing in every way.

Prisonshake - 2 Sisters (1993)

60s Mothers and Fathers (psychedelic)
70s Family Life (Punk/Oi!)
80s My Perfect Cousin (pop punk)
90s 2 Sisters (post punk/post hardcore)

Only one of the songs needs to hit both themes for that 2nd pass!
I don't think that's the case... from Mr. Bogey's post - "if you can find a single song for each decade that contains something about both family and food, you will earn a 2nd song pass." The way I read it, every song has to hit both food and family to get the 2nd song pass.

Oh shit… you’re probably right. I think I only saw the “single song” part 🤦‍♀️
