Day 6: A song with flowers in the lyrics

Flowers in my hair, belong by the sea
Where we used to be, sittin' by the orange trees
Summer in the air, bodies in the heat

Just you and me, sittin' by the orange trees
Marina - Orange Trees

Day 5: A song that made you say โ€œwhat the fuck is thisโ€ in a good or a bad way?

Iโ€™m just too musically ignorant to get this album. Iโ€™ve tried a few timesโ€ฆand I admitโ€ฆI kinda like it. But I like it because I think itโ€™s a very elaborate, committed, prank. Not because I think thereโ€™s anything musically brilliant about it.

I wanted to like this record too. Itโ€™s supposed to be this iconic amazing album.

But I donโ€™t get it at all.

Watching this through the lens of someone who served this country (which kind of makes it feel like my homeland in some ways) and the current happenings here- this video evokes a lot of emotion.

This was my grandfather's favorite movie (well, that and anything with John Wayne). We watched it a lot and sang the songs. He was German and his family fled Nazi Germany (after first getting very caught up in it). He was a stoic man and although I never saw him cry, I did see tears in his eyes during this scene. I didn't really understand what was happening. Naively I thought he was feeling deep emotion about the family coming together to support him. Now I know it was watching a man's voice break in a desperate plea to a country he no longer recognizes.

PS - none of this is normal. Just in case you need reminding/validation.

I love this!
I'm also a Master Gardener ๐Ÿคฉ

(although I'm through the state university extension office)

((but the same office runs 4H in our county))
Same for her. Also thru the state university ext and also county extension).

Itโ€™s a good program. She is retired now from her day job and runs her own gardening business. ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒผ

Where the wild roses grow - Nick Cave featuring Kylie Minogue. The classic song about loving someone so much that you crush their skull with a rock.

This is an awesome live video too - Kylie is a superstar in UK/Australia and normally does stadium tours, but Nick brings it all right back to earth in a club setting and the result is brilliant.
