Bob Dylan, excellent song writer, I love most of the covers of his music. However, I just don't like his voice. It's shaped weird, has strange dips & flares. Voices should flow, but his creates an anxiety, a weird uncomfortable anxiety, in my field of vision. It's as though he's a bunch of cylinders, meant to be bound by gravity, but instead are floating in an unpredictable way, at once crashing into each there and yet floating too far apart. I know this makes no sense to people without chromesthesia, but Dylan fans are just sure I haven't heard the right song, that I'll love him eventually, when the truth is that I need a Xanax if forced to listen to him for any extended amount of time.

His song writing is incredible. His voice is awful.

I hear this so hard. Cannot stand listening to him. And also love hearing people tell me I’m just listening to the wrong stuff.
