Day 5: A song you think everyone should listen to..
E Te Ariki -Dennis Marsh

Hesitated about posting in this prompt, but then I thought it would be great for y'all to have a small taste of the Maori culture. This song, and artist, IMHO, are one of the best

Day 6: A song with a nice title

Some times you find hidden gems on youtube... Original takes, high quality recordings that never made it onto albums...
Just listen to the clarity of this classic. 60 years since, and it's pristine! 🥹

Marc Bolan's T.Rex - Like a white star, tangled and far, Tulip that's what you are

Day 6: A song with a nice title

This song popped up in my head earlier today in response to a meme. This is not the original version - that was from a compilation album from 1981 by a band called Bad Posture.

Couldn’t find the original. But this is a lovely cover.

Lunch Meat - God Damn Motherfuckin Som of a Bitch

Day 6: A song with a nice title

"We're all born in some ways against our will. But at the same time, if you're born screaming, it's a great sign – it's a sign you're alive. We're all born in protest, so screaming is what it means to be alive." _Anne Clark

All Born Screaming - St. Vincent ft. Cate Le Bon

Day 5: A song you think everyone should listen to
I think everyone should listen to all the songs, even the ones that turn out to suck, because that is how I find what I love, but that would make for an odd list. This is one I that never gets play, and should. So you should listen.

"Welcome to the Circus," Jon Astley

Fuck I love Mark and Eels and that song and album. If you ever get a chance read his book Things The Grandchildren Should Know. There also is terrific PBS doc about him and his dad who was a a claimed scientist.
Haven’t seen the doc but I know his dad is credited with the Many Worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics.
