I love this songDay 4: A song that annoys you
Since I can't post the entire collection of works by Alanis Morissette, I'll go for a song that just makes me want to shout HAVE SOME SELF RESPECT YOU DAFT COW! (Plus, the lyrics don't match the mood/color of the sound, which makes me hate it that much more!)
Girl Crush-Little Big Town
I’m Canadian and 100% support thisDay 4: A song that annoys you
Enjoying today's challenge and all the responses. Is it really being negative to simply feel and say, usually aloud, "Ohhhh. this f- - -in' song again!!!???
And no offense to my Canadian friends, but when this song comes on... instant turn the dial on the radio.
Aw my son adores Green Day. But only this album and some from Dookie. Won't listen to any of their other stuffDay 4: A song that annoys you.
It doesn't enrage me, or even piss me off, but just annoys me enough to change the station every time -- it could be any of their songs.
Green Day is the Hot Topic of music.
"Holiday," Green Day
Maybe that's what it is. She just sounds whingeyI wish she would just wake up already. Jeez.
Ditto!Day 4: A song that annoys you
I’ve posted this before for a prompt like this, but I truly can’t fucking stand this song.
Pharrell - Happy
Gawd, that was popular when I was a teenager. What the hell is happening in the world?
Day 4
Lose Yourself
Eminem
Ok so I actually think this is a good song.
But it's my son's current favourite and I've had to listen to (endure) it at least twice a day for the last 6 months or so. And now whenever I hear "Mom's spaghetti" I get an involuntary twitch in my eye

But I thought they needed more cow bellDay 4: A song that annoys you.
I have a thing about percussion instruments. Bad drums, or overly pronounced drums, can drive me up the absolute wall. It'll be all I hear in a song. It's why I can't stand thrash metal (St Anger in particular, I swear that album was mixed by someone who's never heard music before) or TOOL or Rush etc.
But this one's just the absolute fucking worst, because it's a lovely song apart from the god damn bell. Like finding a severed toe in your chorizo pasta.
Blue Öyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper
Why eee eye eeee iiiiii eeee yeaaahDay 4: A song that annoys you
This probably makes me a bad Canadian but I fucking hate this band and its shrieking lead singer.
Superman’s Dead - Our Lady Peace (of shit)
Seconded, thirded, fourthed! Everyone should play this game. I'm not sure how the music will hit someone who doesn't have the connection to the story, but if one does then it is beautiful!Day 5: a song you think Everyone should listen to
This one is off of my normal style, but it is a beautiful song. I have been playing a new game called Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and holy shit is it good. There is a short list of video games that have made me cry, and this one had me tearing up in the first 20 minutes. Hell, I was still in the tutorial.
The game has an absolutely fantastic story, but in an emotion forward game, the soundtrack needs to slap. And boy does it.
I could feel myself getting emotional just listening to the soundtrack. No spoilers, I just got through act one.
