writing my first Lit. story, but due to recent events, it would be pointless. Besides, if I did, I might lose the few friends I have here by shocking or disgusting them. (Hint: Lit. has allowed me to explore a side of myself I either never knew existed or suppressed all these years). I'll leave the writing to the writers & the confident.

And then if you are in the mood, post it
With this crowd I can't imagine much being shocking or disgusting, especially if placed in the appropriate category
 
ok, but why? and if you are so worried about it you can create another nick just for that. no biggie.
 
I apparently shock and disgust people all the time. Write because you have a story to tell Owlz, not because you are worried about what other's think.

As always , Pet is right. And we would love to read your story. I'm in midst of doing the same ... and I know it will surprise a few , what goes on in my mind. But post only when you feel ready.:kiss:
 
I may not be into your fetish but I will defend to the death your right to have it and write porn for us about it!

Unless its kids, thats just wrong...or animals... but ya get the idea.

It's not really that I 'have a story to tell,' Rhys. It would likely be fiction, purely (or impurely?) a creation of my imagination, which at one time was quite prurient. Some people here, I consider friends, and I wouldn't want to jeopardize those friendships. I'm a 'professional' worry wort. Just ask GoddessOfSouls.

Change the names and disclaimer the fuck out of it. Seriously though, tell your story. Most people are honoured to know they were the subject of a story but in case for whatever reason that they aren't, change the names and some of the characterisation to protect the not so innocent. This is a porn board. We are all the subject of someone else's fantasies at some point in time or other. Anybody who hasn't figured that out, is asleep. Write your story. Use your imagination...thats what its there for.

Not to be my typically argumentative self, Rhys, but it would astonish the FUCK out of me to learn hoo on Lit has fantasized/fantasizes about me...and it would be a hell of a turn-on, too...especially if she described the fantasy to me.

We do seem to wander into the same threads. Some of my poetry would shock. And I am writing stories that are intensely erotic and personal and these are not for public consumption. Mistress, I would love to read your work. We have similar tastes.

Do you want us to tell you not to write for fear of censure? Are you trying to come out of the closet about a verboten interest and testing the acceptance level? Perhaps this should be a poll.

Killallhippies is right. You can always use an alt to hide your identity.
 
Go for it Owlz, I write because it affords me the freedom to explore a wilder side of myself. Hey write it and send it to me, if sweet little cookie is shocked it is sure to be a winner. I have written stories about people on Lit, I just changed their names...well all but one. lol

I see Lance got up on the wrong side of the bed again.:eek:
 
owlz, my new motto is "write it, just don't post it at Lit." PM me for an explanation. Remember this: never censor yourself, be free and wild w/ your thoughts and don't write for others!!!

Begin by writing
It is very therapeutic
Perhaps see if anyone is writing in a similar... vein
May start an interesting discussion
Any fantasy is certainly worth mental exploration
 
Write what you feel like writing. If your "friends" are shocked, or appalled, they're either deal with it and move on, or just move on. If anything you'll see who's really a friend.
 
I write because I enjoy it.
And to share with readers.

Even I shock myself at what I write. :)

Write it anyway.

If people shun you because of what you write?
(Unless it is kiddie porn or illegal stuff.)
Make new friends.

I AM an asset to other writers, its just that I do not wish to post my stories here and have wannabe writers comment on them.
I have posted 3 poems and received some insightful feedback but in general I guess they weren't good enough for the elite Lit crowd.
Owlz, here is advice that was given to me by a friend- fuck whatever anyone thinks of your material. Write for yourself and don't try to please others. If some self proclaimed author/editor criticizes your work, consider that they may not be published and are envious of your talent. Also, I doubt very much you could write anything that would shock me. :D Stay and post.
