This asshole is fighting corporate DEI.

"They'll throw society and our kids under the bus to stay famous and keep the money flowing," Starbuck said in a post about his experiences in Hollywood. "The best thing we can do is recognize the game that's being played to destroy our culture and stop idolizing people who don't care about you."
WTF?! What has DEI to do with destroying our culture?!

It is not "Destroying our Culture." That is a bigot's argument.

There are in fact reasonable and valid arguments against it, however. For one, it leads to reverse discrimination: If a company or buisness has a hiring quota they must meet; that is, they are required to hire X amount of women and Y amount of people of color, then they will, at some point, likewise be required to pass up a more qualified candidate (or candidates) for ones that fulfill their DEI hiring quota. In other words, hiring a black person merely because they HAVE to hire a black person, even if he is not the best candidate.
And another argument, is it means that companies will be required to pass over more qualified candidates for less qualified ones merely for the sake of fulfilling their DEI requirements- which leads to a less qualified work force.

But keep in mind, that the most passionate opponents of DEI (like for example Rightguide and...whatever handle Hisarpy is using at the moment; I think he's Rebel5soul today) are people who would NEVER hire a person of color or a woman- regardless of their qualification. In other words, they would do the opposite: Pass up on a more qualified person of color or woman, to hire a lesser qualified one- simply because they don't like women or people of color. This practice was exactly what DEI was designed to put a stop to, but clearly there have been equally unintended and not always positive consequences stemming from it.

This is the Lit PB, dammit! Don't fuck with our heads by being reasonable!

Literotica Trivia: If you put 'DEI' in a post title, there is a statistical certainty that the Lit red-pilled incel misogyny crew - Vetteman (now d/b/a "Rightguide") and BotanyBoy (now d/b/a "Ultrachad") - will make an appearance within two hours.

We know why.

“The same people who’ve spent the last several years decrying ‘unqualified DEI hires’ are now shoehorning through Cabinet nominations who can’t even pass a basic background test.”

Wrong. 'Calling it out' is not the same as 'engaging in it'.
Institutionalizing discrimination based on race and sex is literally engaging in it in the most meaningful way possible.

Just because you support and agree with that racism and sexism doesn't magically make it not racism and sexism anymore.

You can't correct racism effectually by any means that is not the functional equivalent of affirmative action/DEI.
The governors of Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Florida are trying a new tactic: Deny racism has ever existed at all in America. Never teach it in school, kids will never learn about it. Just claim those dusty old black and white pictures of "White Only" water fountains are fake news.

Voilà! (or "Wall-ah" as the banhammered assclown Ishmael used to say) Racism never existed, ergo, there is nothing to "correct" here. Nothing to see here, citizen. Move along now.

Behold the power of positive re-thinking!

DEI is dying, and with good reason.

DEI is nothing more than institutionalized tribalism which is just another form of segregation/discrimination.

Managers in the real world are getting smart and are using the interview process to eliminate those candidates that show any sign of having been infected with the DEI culture. They are, as a group, a bunch of panty pissing whiners who file endless series of bull shit complaints with HR, all of which have to be addressed. They are a serious drag on productivity so it's far easier to not hire them than it is to get rid of their worthless asses once they're on the payroll.
