Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense

I'm from Missouri about the whole thing. I was hopeful about all the Hope-N-Change no sense, either, and it/they didn't disappoint.

We'll see.
Given past performance by ALL past administrations, including Trump's first, skepticism is a healthy attitude. But what Trump is doing is dramatically transformational.

Oh, I agree, but the proof is in the puddin', not the recipe, or the ingredients, or the cooks. Puddin'.

People like their shibboleths, I agree.

And then there's all that Bitter Resentment afloat . . . .
They are the manipulator's that will find some crazy like Sirhan Sirhan or L H Oswald to do their dirty work for them.

We still have no real answers re. Butler, do we?

It is as if they didn't want to know: failure is an orphan.

Lotsa generals filling out those retirement papers. :D

Cool thing about military officers wanting to get out and turn civilian; their resignations have to be accepted and it takes months to get it all squared away.

Those generals don't have months.

Even better part; after separation you can still be called back to active duty for up to 2 years after your official separation date. Usually this is reserved for use during war times, but it also applies to "after discovered" bad conduct while in service.

Which means that even if they do separate before Trump takes over, the ones who engaged in that little mutiny meeting can be called back to active duty and courts martialed.

They set themselves up for whatever consequences that will be coming when they made the decision allow themselves to become corrupted in furtherance of their careers.

Corrupted? Nobody suggests they're taking bribes or anything. Doing DEI because civil government wants it is not in any way corruption.
