Some of the staff at those tire and auto stores are so helpful!! I pulled into one years ago during an absolute gully-washer. One wiper blade was nearly blown off the arm. Figured I needed a replacement. One of the young men came out into the rain, took a look, and reconnected it for me. No replacement needed - no purchase needed. And he refused to even charge me for his time.

I ordered a bakery delivery as a thank you. Was so kind of him! He easily could have said I needed two new wiper blades - I wouldn't have known otherwise.

This tire store is Les Schwab. They're known for doing small things like this without charge. I always tip.

Nice busy day. Cooler which was nice too sun

Mice got into our pumpkin and sunflower seeds. . I’d been putting off cleaning the garage and sorting thru all of our seeds. So we tackled that. Put the veggie and herb seeds in one ammo can and the flower seeds in another one. I dare the mice to get into them!

Then we cleaned the pole barn. Put mice deterrent in the Torino. Chucked some junk into a dumpster, got 10 gals of gas, 5 gals of diesel and topped off the truck.

Then off to the farm for wood splitting and stacking.

Around 5, we went for a walk in the woods on our loop trail. Then home and went for a quick drive to look at pretty sun angles.

Dinner. I tried the beer test. No headache.

Well I got my parents taken care of. it took me all day. My mom stopped crying I got as much security bolstered up as I could and I am now in charge of their finances. Well they are still in charge of their own finances but I am the sign off person. Everyone was okay when I left but I am exhausted. I even bought dinner. Son of a b******. I can't remember if I said anything about my test on my stomach my stomach was normal there's some reddening between where the esophagus meets the stomach so he took a biopsy. Apparently I spoke to him after the procedure, however Fentanyl and Versa do not allow me to remember that. Oh and apparently I was also answering back questions he was asking me I have no idea what they were. They sent me home with discharge instructions so I'll read through those and figure it out increase my Protonix meds. So we will see what happens. So tired. Good night all my loveys.

Either way, I'll probably just do what they want. I'm already planning on gifting them money each year and paying for the kids' school.

It’s definitely worth talking with a good tax lawyer about it.
In the us you can pay kids school and medical without tax consequences as long as you pay it directly.

The attorney I met with on Monday is going to look into whether it's better for me to put my real and personal property into a trust for my nephew or let him just inherit it. There are benefits to both. I will have a convo with my kids to see if they have a preference. The rest of my estate has my nephew as primary beneficiary, his twins as secondary with their mom as trustee. The attorney is going to re-do my will also. It will have provisions for measured inheritance by the babies if something happens to my nephew.
