Well I got my parents taken care of. it took me all day. My mom stopped crying I got as much security bolstered up as I could and I am now in charge of their finances. Well they are still in charge of their own finances but I am the sign off person. Everyone was okay when I left but I am exhausted. I even bought dinner. Son of a b******. I can't remember if I said anything about my test on my stomach my stomach was normal there's some reddening between where the esophagus meets the stomach so he took a biopsy. Apparently I spoke to him after the procedure, however Fentanyl and Versa do not allow me to remember that. Oh and apparently I was also answering back questions he was asking me I have no idea what they were. They sent me home with discharge instructions so I'll read through those and figure it out increase my Protonix meds. So we will see what happens. So tired. Good night all my loveys.

I know people have all sorts of reactions to them. I only tolerate low dose well. Don't sleep on higher dose, and retain a lot of water on them. But I feel good on them. I'm happier, actually have energy, can and do want to do things. I basically feel alive on them.

Susan's aunts cousin neice brothers girlfriend likes dr Jones so Susan picks Dr Jones as her provider ...he goes on the insurance card and he is responsible for her til she gets and is seen by someone else. HOW IN THE HELL is dr Jones supposed to figure out what to do if the only way to fix it is to magically contact the patient to come in to be seen (with no contact info) or tell the patient to call the insurance company and tell them the "real" name of their doctor.... again with no contact info......

If the rules made sense it would be a lot easier

Absolutely! And, like just about everything else in which the government gets involved, the rules are arcane, complicated, and often make no sense. 😖😤

More organizations are putting rules in place regarding civility. Some of these are mandated by government regulations. Studies have shown adverse patient outcomes in environments of workplace hostility.

Nurse Mary is afraid to call Dr. Smith about her patient in the middle of the night as she knows he will yell at her. So, she waits until day shift comes in. Day shift nurse Sally is busy so by the time Dr. Smith rounds on his patient, he's much worse. Results in a longer hospital stay for which the hospital does not get paid.

We didn’t have as many kids as we usually have. We’ve started a block party type thing where we all pool our candy so you don’t have to buy as much. Make snacks and have a good time handing out. Keeps the traffic down on our little nook also. They used to bus them into our neighborhood but this year it was about half of what we had. School is out today so I wonder if that had something to do with it?

We used to get kids driven into our neighborhood. We could get rid of a Costco-sized bag of candy fairly quickly. This year, I didn't even get the neighborhood littles.

1) had my annual physical. Sez I have bloodwork and vitals of a 25 year old.
2) left work early to wrestle w social security to finalize becoming a payee for my mom. Fourth and FINAL visit. Done!

The mediocre to bad:
1) work is super busy. Project work. Got more last minute shit poured onto my to do list today that will necessitate working over the weekend to have information ready for first thing Monday morning. Whatcha gonna do? Pays the bills.

The ugly.
1) tax bullshit about our farm. Will see that tax assessor next week during his office hours.

On a bad note. My parents got caught up in qn elaborate scam to the tune of 35000 dollars. They isolated them...impersonated a federal trade commission commissioner and told them a good story. I shut it down today........ long story cut short. I am taking over financial stuff and gonna help them with all the bs.......

I'm so sorry about your parents! There’s a special place in hell for those who would swindle others. I'm glad you were able to prevent any more hemorrhaging. Is there any chance to get any of it back? 🤬🤬
