I talk to scammers about twice a week. I let them do there speel then say I'm going to get usually I tune cards. Then my car won't start so we chat for awhile I tell them I'm getting a taxi and we chat longer. Then the taxi picks me up but we had a problem at the bank. We chat the next day and my cars fixed. But the roads closed and we chat. Then I don't know any other way. Well day 3 rolls around and we chat and we are all set when a neighbor comes to visit. A couple hours later and I'm on my way for the cards when it starts getting dark and I'm lost. Oppps store closed. I jerk there chain for as long as I can. If they are busy with me they can't bother anyone else...lol

Great day shooting today but tiring. That’s the last now as I head south tomorrow to see the new grandchild. So I won’t be around much if at all but will be back to stand my round and buy all my friends a drink in a week or so.

This talk of scammers and aging parents hits home. At least my parents are still pretty skeptical, and it's usually my mom calling in a tizzy about something on her phone. While it can be annoying to have her just pull into the driveway unannounced, when I'm trying to work, it could be far worse.

And I'm very thankful they took the initiative to get a lawyer and start a trust now. I think even one or two more years, that would be a lot more difficult for them to do.

It's hard to watch them age. But still better than the alternative.

I had a doctor tell me some people experience a sense of euphoria on steroids. I've never seen that in others. I wish they had that effect on me!

You are not alone in that wish.
Cancer treatment for a family member included steroids. Parents called it the "Roid Rage Week".
FYI - Full Remission - you'd never know this one was ever sick to look at them. #blessed

I get these fake collections calls from time to time. The last one wanted me to come to some office to "sign some legal documents." Some have offered to make housecalls - while I was out of town. Let me be in town for one. I pity the poor fool who shows up. He will get busted for his efforts.

Good morning everyone. Well the MRI of the brain pan housing group came back negative (yes I have a brain for what it’s worth, but nothing out of the ordinary). Also the biopsy screening for skin cancer came back benign. So all that leaves me with is a crater in the middle of my forehead. All of this is good news, now let’s see what is the root cause for my 7 week long headache. Hope everyone has a great day.

True. I just need to calm down! I got a tire pressure warning on my CAR today while I was on my way to another dr appointment. The onboard computer showed exactly which tire it was complaining about on the heads-up graphic. Luckily there was a tire store on the way. They put more air in all the tires and I was on my way.

Some of the staff at those tire and auto stores are so helpful!! I pulled into one years ago during an absolute gully-washer. One wiper blade was nearly blown off the arm. Figured I needed a replacement. One of the young men came out into the rain, took a look, and reconnected it for me. No replacement needed - no purchase needed. And he refused to even charge me for his time.

I ordered a bakery delivery as a thank you. Was so kind of him! He easily could have said I needed two new wiper blades - I wouldn't have known otherwise.
