Being on Lake Michigan also makes Chicago weather more mild thank my city’s weather. Sigh.

I hate Chicago. I mean, it was alright, food was nice, I saw Linkin Park, and the scenery that I've seen in films and TV. But it was minus 19, FFS. My hands chapped in thick leather gloves. I was so cold. Even the waves on the lake froze in a wave motion and boiling water in kettles froze up.

Nope, not going back!

Know it was 2013, it was freezing. It wasn't weather I get in London, but pavements were cleared very promptly. Which in London we can't clear an inch and people break their legs.
