Sex & Shenanigans

Chicago is still pretty great.
Eh. Depends on what part, and if we're talking Chicago proper.

It's not as bad as people make it out to be sometimes, but it's still not someplace I usually go by choice. Work tends to take me up there more than anything

But, to be fair, I am very much a country boy, so urban areas in general aren't my jam.

If one likes cities, it’s truly one of America’s great cities. The food is amazing, the scenery, especially with downtown running up to the lake front is incredible, fantastic transit compared to most cities and compared to other large metro areas, really reasonable cost. Every large city has good and bad, it’s the nature of putting millions of people close together, but I’d choose Chicago over most American cities, easy. This is coming from a city with a one way rivalry with Chicago, because this is what happens when my city and Chicago are in an elevator together.

That's fair. And 100% on the food.

Well... but you'd need to live in Chicago...

Back then, ok. Today not so much

• As someone fascinated by interior design, I would love to visit Chicago. Industrial isn’t my absolute favorite design style personally, but I don’t dislike it, and it’s influence on contemporary designs is undeniable.
• As a baseball lover, Wrigley is definitely on my bucket list. Would love to see my Dodgers beat the Cubbies there 😜
• As a lover of history and music, I would probably enjoy one of those touristy jazz/bootlegger/gangster tours.
• As a fat girl, I would absolutely love to sample the best the Midwest has to offer.
• As a dork, perv and lover of art, I would not leave without flicking The Bean!
• As a Californian and human with skin, I absofuckinglutely would not visit in the summer…or the winter! Chicago takes that whole “weather” thing to the extreme 🔥❄️
