Sex & Shenanigans

Follow-up question:

For those who believe in some form of afterlife:
Hypothetically, if a person had more than one great love of their life, and both of those relationships were ended by death, not break-ups…how would it be determined whom they spend their afterlife with? Would it be first, last, longest-lasting, deepest emotions? Would the other be forced to wander the afterlife alone, or at least until they meet someone there? Or would it be like a hippy free love kind of situation?
I fully believe that the afterlife is not only something hard to imagine, it is going to be different from anything we can imagine. Maybe we can all find true intimacy, and that things that seem so important here when it comes to attractions and distractions will all fall away and we will all be everyone's One True Love. Maybe we will be reunited forever with those we love, without fear or jealousy, and we can love those we love. Or maybe we will be reincarnated as a lovely pot of petunias in midair, and think "oh no, not again." Or, mostly likely, something else all together. But the one thing I believe is we will not be alone.

My "favorite" strategy was the concept of "rounding" The employee suicide rate was alarming and the feedback in employee engagement surveys indicated "my manager/superiors/administration does not know me or care about my existence.". Now...call me old school here but as long as I'm working and your paying I don't give a rats ass what else you know about me. These fuckers are now mandated to go around regularly and ask how I am, how's the family, anything needed to be done around the department.... My answer? Fine. I'm fine. Everything is fine. Lmao

I think if you work for a corporation.. a big one… you can’t lose sight of the fact that you’re just an employee # and can be replaced at any given time. Your work gives zero fucks about you.

if they really cared .. all jobs would have livable wages, benefits that actually cover enough for you to live healthy lives … and don’t work you so much that you actually get a good balance of work & personal life.

I saw on the news that… I think it’s .. Germany? … anyhow.. they are switching to a 6 day work week. Like fuck the fuck off.

I’d like to think it’s a life of leisure where you can interact with people you want … like calling up your mum and having a chat … and reading, doing art, swimming … whatever it is that brings you joy.

For those of you that believe in an afterlife … where you exist with all your loved ones …

Do you think you have to wait until they die or is it instantaneous … you all exist together simultaneously after death.
Time is what we use to keep everything from happening at once. I don't believe we will require that. I can imagine that being, but I cannot imagine what it would look like. I am too linear, for once in my life.

You missed when I made everyone crave chili cheese tater tots here yesterday

I'm not saying I completely invented chili cheese tater tots, but I can remember decades ago on the college campus I attended, the university center chef was baffled the first time I ordered my tots topped with chili and cheese. Within two months, it was on the posted menu.

Always loved chili cheese tots.

However, I admit it doesn't seem to work well with nyotaimori.

Underrated AF. The way tots are fork-sized and bite-sized and break apart works sooo much better than chili cheese fries…which are also delish, but slightly more difficult to eat without making a mess

Forget what I said about liking seafood. Oysters, clams, mussels... that's where I draw the line. Anything where you have to crack a rock open to eat the booger inside gets a "no, thank you" from me.
I have a tee shirt from Pacific Seafood that says, "You never forget the taste of your first fresh oyster." Love shellfish.

Snails are fine, you pretty much just taste garlic and butter.
Depends on how you make them. There is this restaurant in rural France that raise their own, completely on herbs, and it flavors the meat. Lightly spiced, grilled and served without the heavy butter and garlic. I have not tried home-raising snails, but even without, they came out lovely. Well, I was the only one to eat them, but that was psychological for my family, but I had had them in the more standard style several times before.

We make Irish nachos (yes, you will hate the name. I accept that as I love you). Either sliced potatoes, cooked crisp, or good kettle chips, covered with pulled pork in nice BBQ sauce, bacon bits (fresh made, of course) and cheese. Or sometimes just local cheddar cheese and fresh bacon, with some green onions.

I’ve done this … super good

I like all forms of nachos

As I’ve previously stated, I’m okay with foods being bastardized IF the name is modified to reflect it, like the “Irish” in “Irish nachos.” If, however, you invited me over for “nachos” and tried to serve me sliced potatoes and pulled pork, I might be compelled to bite you 😜

As I have said before, you are welcome to bite me for any reason whatsoever.
