I guess this is true for some, but most childless people I know just stay inside most of the time because no one’s forcing them to leave their house.

True. Outside has bugs, and people with infectious diseases that I don’t have to risk exposing myself to unless there’s something I actually WANT to do and deem worth the risk and extra steps to protect myself, like a near-empty movie theatre, or outdoor concerts or sporting events. Stuff like going out to pick out my own groceries just isn’t a necessity anymore
