I always buy a drink usually, but last year I decided I was just going to watch my movies without drink or food. I felt like a psychopath sitting there watching Oppenheimer with no snacky snacks.

I think I have 2 purses? … maybe 3?

I have one clear one for use when I go to a sports area cuz it’s required and also saves bag search.

I have my reg purse that is small and just barely fits the things I need

I have a bigger one I love but it’s getting super old and dingy

I have a GIANT one that I don’t know if I can even call it a purse but I used it when I went to Pittsburgh and I fit SO MANY THINGS IN IT

I don’t go often … like usually once a month. So I justify getting snacks as part of the movie-going experience

It is like anything. Ever order Pheasant Under Glass? You pay a lot for it being under glass. So Jujubes Under Glass? $10.

I used to wear an old Marine Corp overcoat that I had...modified slightly. Went to a movie with a full six-pack of bottles of microbrew and a beautiful pastrami sandwich once...

So…I have 2 storage benches at the foot of my bed, that match my headboard. I’m terrible at estimating measurements, but maybe 30”x15”x13”? One has extra bedding, and the other is stacked to the top with backpacks, messenger bags, totes and purses. Depending on the materials, most of the non-canvas bags are wrapped in pillowcases to protect them from scratches, snags or sticking to each other. Plus, I have another 13”x13”x13” storage cube on the shelf with very small handbags and clutches, and another cube with purse inserts, wallet, zipper pouches, etc. Not all of them are fancy, but I do like variety, and being able to coordinate with different outfits. And yes, that includes bags that meet different requirements for different venues: a clear backpack no larger than 16”x16”x6” for Dodgers Stadium and SoFi Stadium, insulated bags (or picnic basket) for Hollywood Bowl, clear clutch no larger than 8”x5”x1” for the arena formerly known as Staples Center, etc

I miss the drive-in! San Diego has (hopefully still present-tense) a great one that plays double-features and allows food in. Ex-fiancé and I used to take snacks and a cooler full of drinks and sammiches, and even a whole pizza once!
