That's.... insanely cheap though! Even after the increase. Compared to Sweden.I make excellent money and live in one of the most affordable states in the US. I bought my home right before COVID for $200k; 5 bed, 2.5 bath, custom kitchen, and 1/2 acre property. It has increased in value by 50% in 4 years. I don't know if I could afford to buy the house I live in now. It's insane.
Rent is cheap, but buying a place is fucking expensive. Though I can't see a reason to ever buy a place if you don't plan on flipping it.
