Sex & Shenanigans

Eh, for being a bigger and thicker guy, I have surprisingly skinny legs.
Most tripods do.
Straight fit is definitely growing on me. 😁
I wasn't asking for a MMF order....
And if a friend were so inclined, they would definitely accentuate anything that would arise to a greater extent with the snugger fit. 😉😁😆
I have no idea what your saying ...

I've also tried. My mom is so talented and can make blankets and clothing. I'm like ... crocheting in just a line and can't manage it. I also obviously cannot count because every line is uneven.
My mom is a first generation feminist. She eschewed anything she viewed as traditionally "woman's work". But, I wanted to learn it all! My aunt taught me bread baking, from my grandma how to sew & home can, my great grandma taught me how to garden & she tried unsuccessfully to teach crochet. She was legally blind and could make a doily with machine accuracy! She never stopped trying...I think I was always a bit of a dissappointment

I simply don't believe that you were every a disappointment. Impossible.

My mom did and still does embrace being the matriarch of the home in every sense. I think I have never cared about any of those things because I never really wanted that role. Although, I learned to cook and bake because I was one of the older siblings and was on babysitting duty most of the time.

I never wanted the role, but I wanted the skills. Especially sewing. I'm built like an coke bottle, all boobs & backside, being able to tailor my own clothes was a godsend!

I also loved learning how they made due with rationing during the world wars. She taught me to make a cake with honey instead of sugar. I loved when we make that kind of cake because she'd tell the story of how she brought it to a church pick nick in nineteen-forty-whatever, and where she got the sugar to waste to make it was the talk of the town! I love old-timey gossip 😂

I found much satisfaction in crocheting a line, then unraveling it. Thus I never get more than a single line done.

I have no apocalypse skills, I did take a class on making shoes back in L.A. in an attempt to remedy that but quickly resigned myself to being in the first wave of death/food. My daughter however is learning all these things. She’s way more bad-ass than I ever aspired to be.

I feel like in an apocalypse you really just learn to do with the bare minimum? And I have enough faith in myself to know that I'm capable of doing anything that needs to be done... It's really just about having grit.

You’re fierce as fuck, but not all gritty like sandpaper. I’m soft, I got no desire to rebuild civilization. 🤣

My kids can all sew & pressure can. Now, if they'll just agree to sit in a duck blind with me at 3am, we can indeed survive the coming apocalypse!
