The story just makes this one! There's an amusement park in Stockholm, Gröna Lund. It's the oldest in Sweden, and many of the rides (although frequently updated) have been around for some 150 years.
Blå Tåget, the Blue Train, built in the 30s, is a horror-attraction where you sit in an open cart and travel through a tunnel filled with horrific animatronics and displays and pictures and screams. When I was a child, I found it so extremely scary that I shut my eyes, crawled on the floor of the train and wailed the entire ride. It was traumatizing. I didn't attempt it again for 30 years.
Last year, at Halloween, I went. And I made it through. It was fun! Beautiful even. Trauma gone.
And I got a coupon as a prize for making it all the way to the end!
I had one once that said, “Some cookies contain no fortune.”This is the greatest fortune I’ve ever gotten in a fortune cookie.
It’s the only fortune that doesn’t seem to work when you you the game where you add “in bed” to the end of your fortune, which I guess makes it the perfect ending, if not a happy ending.View attachment 2365767
That one at least works with ‘in bed’.I had one once that said, “Some cookies contain no fortune.”![]()

The end of an ice lolly and the end of hope that I'd share it
Nice use of changing depth of field.
