Yeah… it used to be a thing that a thread could only get to like… 2000 pages or something before it got locked and a new thread had to be started. That’s why there are so many “ver 2” threads out there cuz it used to be the way we had to operate.

I think that was from before they updated the forum engine? There used to be a post limit of 5k posts because anything more than that cause excessive strain on the back-end machinery.
