One of my favorite sunrises. Rented a bunkie in Ontario as a stop on a motorcycle trip. Woke up early after a great night, and stepped out to watch the fog lift off the valley and listen to the cows moo-ing and the clanging of their cowbells in the distance. I’m gonna need more … cowbell.

Nothing special.... except
1) it was taken just after midnight
2) I was looking North when i pressed the shutter
3) it was in the most Easterly town in Norway
The Barents Sea. Taken in June... the land on the right is an uninhabited (except by birds) island. Beyond that... Svalbard and then over the North Pole to Canada.
Also, gotta love Kodak colour film for light like this (medium format, hence why it is square)
