I don’t know if it was intentional or not, still hurt. But I learned years ago to not relinquish my power by letting someone else manipulate me and bring me down with their words. I just didn’t expect that from one of my closest friends. Perhaps we aren’t that close anymore and I just hadn’t realized it.
But… I have kitties! They want attention now.

Thanks Shady! I am better now after a nice sleep…. And my kitties waking me up several times. But, it was a nice way to wake up with two tiny little fur-balls laying on and next to me, snuggling in to go to sleep, purring away.
