I'm on our summer cottage, I have buried the dear cat, and my heart is calming down. My other cat is here too and keeps wondering about this new environment (indoors).

Phew. Yeah. Time for a dip in the lake, and then some hot chocolate.

I took advantage of the day off and started looking at cars. Not every dealer was open but I cruised a few lots. The average price for a 2024 comes to around 30,000 dollars. Yikes.

Mrs Rj and I are going to start looking for a newer used car soon because our 2015 Chevrolet Cruiz is a piece of shit and K is Not comfortable in the seats. We paid off the loan & we can start looking soon in cooler weather

I understand completely. I just bought a low mileage Jeep Cherokee last week.

We’ve done with one car for a year since our daughter totaled our 2016 (with only a handful of payments left). It’s been a hassle trying to split the car among three people especially when our daughter is home from school. She has an internship In Philadelphia in the fall and while it’s mostly remote she will have to go in person occasionally. We’re not promising anything but one option is to let her have the 2013 for a semester. So I’m looking around now.
