I will take the pulpit. Technology could help with measuring and recording speeding with a camera but our State law says cameras are not allowed as an officer has to observe the speeding. I recommend an officer monitor the cameras and start issuing fines. Also big flashing school speed limits signs was used effectively in a small city 15 miles from my city.

I've eaten elk, venison, bison, and ostrich. The ostrich was very lean and dry. Elk and venison I had when I was a child and didn't like the gamey-ness of it. Perhaps I would like it better now.

Ostrich and Bison were massively popular (for a short time) @ 30 years ago. I tried the ostrich - very lean, neutral tasting protein. Cooked similar to white meat turkey IMO. Took on flavors/seasonings like a BOSS. Was great for stir-frys. Loved it!!
And then it was gone...

My daughter was having issues w fatigue. She got checked for Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome. Luckily, it was actually just an iron deficiency…

Or you just maybe working too hard.

Fatigue is a devilish minion. Myriad possible causes can make it very difficult to pin down.
I constantly dance on the line for anemia. Since I can't eat red meat, I try using a Lucky Iron Fish a few times a week when I cook.

Then I would sic the police on him.

That word and the whole energy of the statement immediately brings to mind, "Chopper, sic balls!"
I should be so lucky to have such a stalwart champion in my dottage!

Co-worker told the story of a family funeral. Back at the house for coffee, etc. and a relative was putting little masking tape markers on the items in the house that they wanted.

We eat a lot of pheasant and partridge. Wild goose gets smoked or made into burgers. Duck, pigeon and other stuff goes into game terrine I make plus the above.

I occasionally get given a deer in skin which I sort, butcher and freeze. Last venison we had left went into pies. You wouldn't know it wasn't steak. Slow cooked in Guiness with onions and mushrooms. Reduced then put in the pie cases.

That all sounds wonderful! You can cook for me any time, G!

Mornin! Happy day of fries. Work this week has been really crazy. But I am off today to hang out with my friends, one of whom is in town from Arizona.

Got decent sleep for the first night in a week. Feel refreshed.

A few errands to run and having lunch with a bunch of my old local friends while my buddy is in town. one of the crew had really bad MS, so he may or may not be able to make it.

My city has 100,000 people. We have a budget for a police force. It’s a matter of priorities. And the city is more interested in big development these days at the expense of its safety and history.

The whole of Dumfries and Galliway is only 150,000 people in 2,482 sq miles. Our community is a few hundred people. Its why we moved here.

Same problems limited budgets and muppets in charge...and that's and insult to muppets.

We have a great mayor. When we took over they were using general fund money to pay water bills and selling drugs on street corners. He put a stop to it and now we have police lots of community events we r planning for growth and last yr alone he has gotten 3 million dollars to improve infrastructure..... amazing
