Monday, April 15th: First Ever Criminal Trial for a Former US President

You absolute dumbfuck. I’ve already posted the letter of the New York law in response to your bullshit.

The law cited in the indictment includes what elevates it to a felony. You just ignore it because you’re an asshat.

Again for tor your stupid ass mind to try to absorb:

Ҥ 175.10 Falsifying business records in the first degree.

A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree
when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second
degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit
another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.

Falsifying business records in the first degree is a class E felony.”
Yes clown, but what underlying law did the jury find him guilty of beyond a reasonable doubt that creates that felony?

He thinks the 'crimes' were committed while Trump was President instead of during the summer/fall before the election.

It's really amazing how often the Left turns their fantasizing into purported facts which truth can't shake.

When did Trump falsify the records of repayments to Cohen?

Fucking nailed you on facts again you simp.

Lol.

WHAT "another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof"?

BESIDES the bookeeping entries, WHAT FUCKING CRIME???

Jebus you're such a dimwit.

Fucking nailed you on facts again you simp.

What "false" records? His accountants recorded the payments to Cohen, Trump's LAWYER, as legal fees. The payments were made in response to invoices submitted by Cohen for his services.

Services which, by the way, inflated the payments to Daniels and included additional added unearned fees. (Which I think I remember as being 2x the actual cost of the services.)

So what you have are LEGAL bookkeeping entries for LEGAL payments for an NDA which were fraudulently overbilled by the lawyer.

So where are the "false records"?

The law which elevated the business records falsification:

§ 17-152. Conspiracy to promote or prevent election. Any two or more
persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to
a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by
one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

He falsified the business records to cover up a misdemeanor. Fucking idiot. Oops!

It was a crime he covered up. The fact that the statute of limitations had expired doesn’t mean he didn’t commit the misdemeanor, it just means he can’t be charged for the misdemeanor. Was he? Whether or not it was charged within the statute of limitations it was proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he committed the misdemeanor, therefore the business documents falsification charge was a felony.

The payments aren't the issue dipshit. According to Bragg, but NOT the evidence since this wasn't ever entered into evidence, Trump had Cohen get Daniels to agree to the NDA in order to keep the affair quiet so that no one knew about it BEFORE the election. That way his public reputation wouldn't be soured and possibly lose votes.

So the unalleged and evidence lacking underlying felony allegedly occurred prior to the election. You know, during the summer/fall.

What's really sad is that you set yourself up to fail each and every time you try to compete on this level. You lived through the events, read some stuff about it, cheered the verdict, and you STILL can't get most of what happened correct.

Yep. The indictment claimed "a violation under New York’s election law 17-152 that the falsification of business records were committed to further another crime as an unlawful means to influence the election" but the other crime in furtherance has never been identified and Trump has never been charged with or convicted beyond a reasonable doubt of said crime, whatever it was. We still don't know that crime.

Sorry, no. The jury saw the evidence and ruled beyond a reasonable doubt that it was paid as part of a conspiracy.

Fuck your feelings and spin.

More bootstrapping on your part.

He committed 34 misdemeanors to allegedly cover up A DIFFERENT CRIME.

What different crime? It can't be the bookkeeping stuff, those are the misdemeanors.

Again, there's no evidence of the underlying felony offense. Without that the jury verdict cannot have been made only on the facts.

Which is what the appeals court will undoubtedly find.

That means you lose. Again.

Nope. Dumbfuck, the fact that the misdemeanor covered up a conspiracy that was proven beyond a reasonable doubt elevated it to a felony.

This was the ruling. 🧑‍⚖️

It defies logic that derpy is a lawyer.

Another simpleton joins the chat.

When a verdict is improperly made, it's the job of the lawyer to challenge it.

Those who blindly follow the verdict because they CHOOSE to are the ones who defy logic.

34 alleged felonies all stemming from the same single act.

But that's not the law. Nor the facts.

I'll help you out a bit here too. A criminal conspiracy MUST BE an agreement to commit an illegal act.

What unlawful act did the participants agree to perform?

It's also incumbent on the judge to protect the rights of the defendant and not become a member of the prosecution team.

Sure thing derpy.

👍

Not my fault you insist on being stupid and blind.

As a lawyer MY JOB is to challenge the facts and evidence in order to seek the truth. Not follow blindly along because someone else tells me to.

You know, like you and the other dipshit are doing.

Which is the difference between Merchan's decisions and Judge Cannon's. And why the Left LOVES Merchan and hates Cannon.

There needs to be an investigation on how he was "randomly" selected and happened to get three Trump-related trials. Somebody in the media said the odds were one in 36 million.:D

How many judges are there and how many cases on the docket.

It's not rocket science.

Also, the jury was not handpicked against Trump either. That's not how trials work

I'm not sure one source says 171. The law requires they be chosen at random.

The entire thing is so tainted it's impossible to discover the truth because those who were part of it will lie to protect themselves and everyone else involved.

Political animas is on full display in all of these cases. Trump's rights and constitutional protections are being violated wholesale and the Left is choosing to go along with it at all levels of society.

What you see is hate being openly displayed and then contempt for those who point out the Left's bad behavior.
