Weird question but …

Is there a thread somewhere where you can just drop a piece of writing, a stream of consciousness if you will, and not expect feedback on it? Like you were just putting it out there in a void only because it would feel cathartic to release it and not just have it living inside you?

You can publish it on the "working side" of Lit, as I call it, and turn off comments. It takes 2 - 3 days to get reviewed, then publish and readable.

On the bulletin board, yes. You can publish in, say, poetry and turn all comments off.

You can just start your own thread. Call it musings and thoughts or whatever you like and just post.

Ya, comments can be good and bad when you publish. When I published my writing, in one of them I misspelled something in the summary and several people were dicks about it in comments. I just deleted the comments and left the ones about the actual story. I don't mind if people are critical of the story, just don't be dicks about it.

I've thought about getting back on the writing horse, even started a reboot to the series I wrote, but just haven't had the drive to sit down and really finish it.
