Tool... they're skilled. Ridiculously skilled. They are incredible musicians. All of them. But they make such dull music. It's complexity for complexity's sake. I can't stand it either. Like a three star Michelin restaurant, what they serve up makes you scratch your head in awe at what they've created, but then you have a taste and it leaves you... wanting.

I can dissect most contemporary music. I cannot easily dissect some of TOOL's.

I'm blaming terrible grammar on lack of sleep as well as lack of caffeine.

And now I'm going to mow, while there is a manhunt for an armed fugitive within 1 mile of my house. Why take the chance? Because it finally isn't raining.

Tool live is a great show. And they were part of what changed music from Van Halen copycats.

I didn’t really care for the last album. I heard so much recycling.

But seeing them at the Gorge summer of 2007 is a highlight.
