That was on my short list! I am a huge fan of The Hooters, and this whole album is on my regular playlist.
This album was my entry into The Hooters
They aren't really folk, mostly a straight-up rock band, but they added a bit more of that element for that album. And they have always used a melodica (the aforementioned "hooter') as part of their sound. They were also a big part of Cyndi Lauper's first album as writers and musicians.
