I played these back in the day. One of them had a “Where’s Waldo” mini game except it was “Where’s Dildo” and yep, you had to find all the hidden dildos. Fun was had!

Hmm. HMMMM. The game I recommended was Disco Elysium, which is in my opinion one of the greatest stories ever told. I do hope you get around to it! But yes, still a bit sad that you feel that c-rpgs are lesser than tabletop. There are some truly fantastic games out there. Maybe @SherlockianMan will make a Top 5 Video Games one of these weeks


Every single one? Well you have me beat. I haven't played any of them to completion since Majoras Mask. As the medium advanced, so did their story telling, and while Zelda games are fun and arcade'y I much prefer story heavy games nowadays. The latest two Zelda games look cool, but if all a game has to offer is gameplay, then it's not really for me anymore..

On the topic of DE while it is really more a point and click than a true rpg, I don’t know that I’ve ever played a crpg where I felt more strongly invested in my actual character. Like when I play it I have no concern with the optimal outcome I really do make every choice based on what I think the character I’m playing would say or do. It’s fantastic.

I some times just put on a stream of someone playing it without talking, just to listen to all the dialogue. The voice actors are... HARD CORE TO THE MEGA, JA!

I do hope you finish it one day. The story just keeps getting better the further in you get. The closer you get to the pale. The more you dance... to the disco music.

I’ve had this game on my Switch for a while now and never played it. I bought it on sale and it’s just been sitting there ever since. You’ve both convinced me to finally actually play it.
