Please know I meant no offense if I made comments to @SirConradPeckereye, @Mav Unlimited or others about dressing as a strict librarian, with thick glasses, a severe black skirt, dark nylons, heels, white blouse and carrying a ruler to smack their asses with when they were sassy, loud and obnoxious again.

My father and brother are both librarians. Neither one of them has ever worn anything remotely close to what you're describing.

In their defense, it's usually Amazon that is the problem here.

I do some work directly with ebook borrowing services and I've heard some horrors stories about the hoops they have to try and jump through to get Amazon to approve their apps for Kindle. Amazon tends to want more data gathering then the services are comfortable with and it usually takes a lot of negotiating to get things worked out.

Plus, I'm not sure the state of Canadian internet privacy laws, but I know they are far superior to the US...which is none.
