Yeah, but it's recently occurred to me that I could become a grandma in my 40s! Not that I think that will happen but it could.

For what it is worth, my mother pointed out to me that she could become a grandmother at 35.. which to me, at the to me was so old! Now I am almost 60 and not a grandparent yet…

As difficult as a toddler might be in your 40s, imagine trying to deal w/a HS aged kid in your mid 50s? I laugh at my friends in that situation constantly. One was at a game last week and got the best question:

"Who's grandparent are you?"

Oh, that was my reality. Luckily, I look a bit younger without the beard. With it, I look like I wrote a manifesto on why hummus is the reason the lizard people are taking over Public Television and will yell at your car if you don't read it.
