I love the smell of moss. I love rainy spring days. Today I have both with my living moss wall. It's forever spring in my kitchen.

I don’t think your posts could ruin anything. This is a lovely image of a beautiful woman. It screams fertility goddess to me and that in turn means spring. Adding the flowers…adds even more spring flair so it perfectly fits the theme.

I wanted to do a nude wearing a slinky, but then I saw these.

I loved the juxtaposition of the moody clouds and optimism in the blossom.

The color and framing on this is gorgeous. The way the clouds have a pinkish (sunset?) hue really adds to the overall feel of the image. Well done.

Lupine

Lupine are one of my favorite signs of spring. Absolutely lovely.

So vibrant springing from the dried dead leaves. Spring for sure!

Spring in the Prairies come late but these Canola fields are an absolute visual delight to drive by on the highways.

Canola fields? Wow!! I’ve never seen them but they are lovely. I like your composition too. The way the sky is so big the fields just seems to go on for miles.

Vineyards can show so much life and the stark contrast before rebirth. The hills in the background are stunning as well. I enjoy how green they are in contrast with the vines.

Penzeys. I loved that store. Intelligent shit and so much variety. Too bad they couldn’t retail near me with the Amazon’s of the world and customers blowing their backs out with the free coupons. There was a Sur La Table near us as well which suffered the same fate.

But the owner got political, and vicious. He made some statements, on the Penzey site, so it is company related, that were precisely the reason I got out of politics. They weren't aimed at me, or really my beliefs, but they were so fucking uncivil it was disturbing. I don't do boycotts, but I find different places to get my spices now. But I love that cup.

A local place here in Portland for the wilder stuff. It is a ways, but worth it. I mostly hit the various ethnic markets for the usual suspects. And I have been known to hit my supermarket bulk bins when necessary. I try to stay local.

A local place here in Portland for the wilder stuff. It is a ways, but worth it. I mostly hit the various ethnic markets for the usual suspects. And I have been known to hit my supermarket bulk bins when necessary. I try to stay local.

We have an Asian supermarket. I get most of my Thai seasonings there. The fancy spices honestly I couldn’t find after Penzey.

So like you I hit a smattering of stores - the Indian grocery stores the Asian grocery stores and the middle eastern stores and from time to time the Caribbean stores which have amazing jerk seasonings.
