Sex & Shenanigans

That show died after Mandy Patinkin left. First two seasons were peak procedural TV! Also, fun drinking game; a shot every time they say Unsub :ROFLMAO:
I only saw a little bit of one episode... since Mandy didn't once say "Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya..." I got bored and changed the channel. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Did they have a problem with subs? What did we ever do to them???

They have one episode where Tim Curry guest stars, and he's just freaking indescribable. Creepiest bad guy I've ever seen. Way out of place in such a cheesy show.

(I've never seen the princess bride 🫣)

Hah! Unsub is their acronym for Unknown Subject. They say it all the time. It gets tedious, quickly.

My DM is open. I bet we could share equally wild stories. 🙂
Feel free, but it's not even stories for me, though I have one or two. It's the traditions passec down that are based on someone's idea and not what's in the book. Seriously, Martin Luther was a swearing, alcohol consuming man with anger issues, and he's the pillar of the entire Protestant half of the church. But ask most people if they know one of his famous quotes is, "I'm ripe shit." I guarantee they have no idea.

I’m curious. I was scanning through the “types of horror, yay/nay” discussion, and the emotional impact it has.
What scenes in film or TV just plain stick in your head and always get an emotional reaction from you, horror or otherwise? Why?
There used to be three networks. And they would do "TV Movie of the Week." ABC did one called Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. It was about this couple who buy an old house. The fireplace in the basement is bricked up and sealed. The handyman says "fuck, no, don't open that." Guess what they do? So they release these prunefaced little harry bastard who want to either hurt or capture the wife. Everyone else, including her husband, thinks she is losing it.

It is sureal. I was fucking five-years old. I was convinced these things were after me until...what day is it? I heard them in my house. I felt them running on my bed. It fucking scared me.

Here is a scene. Remember, I was five.

Um.... I'm not seeing a problem here... I mean, those don't sound like character flaws to me.

🤔🤔🤔 ...actually sounds a little familiar...🤔🤔🤔
Not flaws, it's the whitewashing and filtering that's happened over the centuries.
Stop antagonizing me, I didn't want to make the thread suffer through my ranting. 😆

Stay away from A Dog's Purpose. Fucking doggie snuff film...
My closest friend bought The Art of Racing in the Rain for me because she thought I would love it. I cried myself in a mess watching it. I think it is a great movie... but I wouldn't mind if I hadn't watched it. My emotions are already on the edge of exploding all over the floor... I don't need any stimulation whatsoever that way. But if it makes me laugh? Then I'm good with that. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
