Sex & Shenanigans

Honestly on the drive to work I feel like I'm going to die most of the time... The speed limit is 70 but EVERYONE is going at least 85 and acts like you're going so fucking slow if you go the speed limit...

Not that I do because I'm also an asshole driver. 😇
Sounds like driving in SE Michigan. You definitely get where you are going fast on the freeway there.

I survived driving in NYC, Tokyo, and Jamaica, where lanes are sort of something for someone else to worry about.

Definitely get there fast... But your life is definitely at risk. It's not even just that it's fast. It's that people merge without signaling, cut you off at high speeds, during winter it's snowy and slippery and it feels almost like an extreme sport tbh. Lol

Everyone says their state or some state nearby them has the “worst drivers.” I’ve lived in 6 states and they all have fucking horrible drivers. I’ve never been somewhere that I was like “Wow, people really know how to drive here!”

Can we just all agree that the general public is bad at driving? 😂
I've lived in 5 and spent lots of time in a few others and what I've found is that, yes, you're correct, but most places have a "thing" that makes them bad.

What I hated about OK was that there was no constant. It was just randomly terrible drivers. One of the deadliest interchanges per capeta in the US was in OKC. Not because of poor engineering, just really shitty drivers
I feel like most people think they're above-average drivers, which obviously cannot be true!
Except me, of course.
Okay... the hypothetically speaking, if I were to say, that maybe I happened to throw my 67 Cougar sideways pulling out onto the empty boulevard the other day... (tires squealing, and me laughing)... would that be considered not good driving?

Hypothetically speaking, of course.... 🤣🤣🤣
Hypothetically, I think we have similar driving styles. 🤣

😂
I'll concede that any urban area is going to have aggressive drivers. However, I'm with @Amanda330 on this one. I'm in Utah 2-3 times a year, and those drivers are the WORST! You'd think there was no speed limit, and the lines in the road are just suggestions.
Maybe it's just Salt Lake? I've been all across the Southern part of Utah and the only terrible drivers were the tourists, especially those that are DWA.

If everyone is doing 90, party on!
I'm really curious about this, because I have gone on a bunch of road trips in southern Utah, and never noticed that. Are you talking about northern Utah - like Salt Lake City or something?
Exactly!
My only quibble with this is that it's my contention that neither my state, nor any state near me has the worst drivers. We have some bad ones, sure. But fuck me if I ever drive in Florida again. I think the sun has melted their brains.
Lived in the Redneck Riviera (Panama City) for 18 months, locals were typical, but the snowbirds and spring breakers were the worst.

Nah, I don’t have pet names for my dick.
Monkito, obviously 🐒

🤦🏻‍♀️

lol. I love going to work so I can make other people’s lives a little less enjoyable. :)

I thought you were a nice fella?
Guys who CALL themselves nice guys rarely are

That time when you pull your phone out so Face ID can detect your…face but then you yawn for a few seconds too long and even the second detection fails and you have to type your code manually. Ugh.

🥱
I don’t use face recognition. Around the time it went mainstream, police in Hong Kong were holding protestors down and using face recognition to unlock their phones. I mean…severed thumbs can be used to unlock phones too, but I’m guessing if someone severs my thumb, I’ll have bigger things to worry about 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm listening to my wife on the phone making phone calls for the PTO. Her customer service voice is not at all like her normal voice. The transformation is almost scary.
I remember some posts on various socials shortly after lockdowns down began, and people suddenly working from home were discovering their partners had wildly different 'work voices' or even 'work personalities' than what they were used to :D

I miss audio threads, but like I said to your earlier, hard to find the right speed for 'em - too fast and it's really hard to catch up, too slow and it chokes itself, and not in a sexy way.
I think you just gave yourself an assignment.

Welcome back!
