My grandad used to read "The Cremation of Sam McGee" to us then tell us stories of the Northern Lights and crazy things he saw while working on the Alaskan Pipeline. We were utterly captivated little kids

We love poetry, my daughter made it pretty far in the Poetry Out Loud competition. I think poetry is both the opposite and same, as stand up comedy in that it can communicate complex & uncomfortable concepts in such a way that your mind begs to hear the conclusion
