Ummm…I use the Discord app to have a weekly movie night watch party with some gamer friends via screen share and audio chat…aaand also used it to watch porn with a Lit gentleman via screen share *while* simultaneously naked video chatting.

He's 13. He's just like me and my brothers and my dad, in that he was always tiny and undersized, until he hit 7th grade. Over the past year he's shot up like a weed. He's no longer undersized.

A very normal time for a growth spurt, then.

Sometimes it hits later. Like in the army (our army is conscription-based, 6-12 months once you're adult and out of the high school/vocational school). My sister had a classmate that was even shorter than her as 16yo, aka less than 160cm. Then they didn't see for some 5 years - at which time he greeted her from somewhere above. He was at least 180cm then!

My son outgrew me about a year ago. I did not take it well either

I can understand, my son grew 6 inches his Senior year in high school.. It was a shock to have to look up to him so suddenly.
