OK, so apparently this was someone posting a joke comment with the knowledge of the person whose pic it was.

If I've overreacted (which I know is very unlike me) I apologise, but the unintended consequences of the joke were that it looked like someone's vulnerabilities were being trampled on, and that upset me.

I'm sorry if I've spoiled people's evenings. I'm going to go to bed now. I'm sure the fun will resume once the boring cunt has left the room...

I made the same conclusion. Not cool. On the other hand, a lot of people, mostly women, have stopped posting because of negative comments and stalking behavior.

So, not a boring cunt. A good guy.

you’re a cunt and you didnt spoil my evening! I appreciate that you were protective of the person who shared the photo. I think that’s why folks have enjoyed being part of your thread so much and why I’ve felt comfortable posting here.
I definitely didn’t take the post as a joke either and i think erring on the side of protecting the person is exactly what you should have done. For what it’s worth, at least.
